We’ve officially reached the end of term at RCE Wellbeing hub and what a term it has been- It’s been such a joy sharing our sessions with you! ☺️🤩

We have some great things going on over the summer!

🌞 8 Bitesize sessions- In these 30 minute sessions we will be sharing some powerful tips. They can be used to help refresh your memory from attending previous sessions, or as a snapshot and insight into our full sessions that will be back on timetable from September!

🌞 Mindfulness Summer- Carve out some time and come and join us for a moment to yourself to ‘reset’ the nervous system and develop your mindfulness practice

🌞 Intention setting- A gentle reflective space to celebrate and reflect on your recovery journey so far with the opportunity to set new intentions for the coming months. It’s also a space to talk to us about what support you may need and which courses might be useful to you.

We also have our wonderful Wellbeing Discovery Programme running through the summer too!

Our timetable can be found just here

Mental Health Awareness Week - this year's theme is community.

Join us online on Monday 19th May at 1.30pm-3.45pm for our FREE course 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

This course gives an introduction to the strategies, tools, and resources we can tap into to boost our wellbeing. As the name suggests, it covers 5 key ways that we can do this by Connecting, Taking Notice, Being Active, Giving, and Learning.

Pop us an email at RCEWellbeingHub@cpft.nhs.uk to book!

You can put some of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing into Practice by getting involved with your community:

CONNECT online: Find others who share similar experiences or
interests online. Remember, healthy online communities should make you feel safe and valued.

BE ACTIVE: Get out and moving in nature for more mental health benefits. Choose an activity you enjoy. You could join a club or group centred around your interests.

GIVE back: Helping others is a great way to build community and give you purpose.

Be kind to yourself this Mental Health Awareness Week!

Join us for our 2-session FREE online course, Give Yourself a Break.
Running on Tues 10th June and Tues 17th June, 1:30pm - 3:45pm.

This two-session course will consider how life gets in the way of being kind to ourselves and will help us recognise that we are often quicker to look after others’ needs instead of our own. During this course, you will practice several ways to enhance your ability to be self-compassionate, including looking at the difference between recharging and relaxation, and developing your self-care routine.

After all ‘self-care is giving the world the best of you, not what’s left of you.’

Did you know that every emotion has a function?

Join us in our Exploring Emotions course to identify what emotional are and why we experience them. We’ll look at a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy model to understand the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and behaviours. Finally, we will discuss different ways we can manage, regulate, and express our emotions.
