And that’s a wrap… 🤩

We’ve reached half term here at the RCE Wellbeing hub and we just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our peers that have attended our sessions this half of term.

Our trainers are so passionate about delivering informative sessions and are honoured they get to share their teaching space with our wonderful peers.

We see it so often, students coming to our sessions with such great contributions and providing so much hope and support to one another, so a BIG thank you to YOU too for making our work so enjoyable! ☺️

We’re looking forward to seeing you after half term. We may be a little bit slower to reply to emails over the next but we’re still there! 🧐😀

We’re fast approaching half term here at RCE Wellbeing hub, and we thought we’d let you know some of what we have coming up in November/December! ☺️

🗓️‘Bouncebackability’- 4th Nov 1.30pm
We will explore the meaning of resilience; the impact it has on how we live our lives and some steps we can take to build up our own inner strength.

🗓️ ‘Leaving Loneliness Behind’- 6th&13th Nov 1.30pm
In this session, we’ll look at the reasons levels of loneliness are increasing and will discover methods to help us feel less lonely and more connected.

We also have our popular BITESIZE sessions too! 30 minute sessions, sharing our top tips on our most popular topics!

🗓️Join Dr. Claire Gillvray weekly from Tuesday 4 November at 12:30-1pm online with the RCE Wellbeing Hub, to find out how to turn the everyday into medicine. 
 
Our ‘Lifestyle As Medicine Programme’ (LAMP) is about understanding the relationships between sleeping better, moving more, eating well, reducing stress, deepening connection and minimising harm, the science behind how these things impact our health and how we can use them to improve our wellbeing. Each week we will start with a different topic – join us for one, some, or all six sessions!

✨ On Tuesday they will be delivering a face to face course- Living Well With Anxiety! If you have missed our ‘in person’ courses, this is a great opportunity to join us ☺️ We will be joining up with Aspire Recovery Service and delivering this course at Fletton Life Church (PE2 8BY)

✨ On Thursday, Abraham and Frankie will be delivering ‘Diagnosis…. Now What?’ A course to provide support, helpful tips and strategies following a diagnosis.

Anxiety is a natural human response, however, sometimes we can often question why we feel this way and wish the symptoms we are experiencing would just stop!

In our ‘Let’s Talk About Anxiety’ session, Abraham and Frankie will be defining what anxiety is; the impact it has on our body, how it can affect our day to day life, and also share some helpful sustainable tips on managing anxiety symptoms.

We know so many of our peers are living with anxiety alongside other challenges and know just how important it is to keep talking about this topic.

Chronic fatigue affects approximately 30-50% of general population, and can be experienced as a symptom along side many medical conditions.

Join Kathy ( RCE’s Peer Trainer) and Abraham ( RCE’s Health Trainer) for our ‘Let’s talk about Chronic Fatigue’ session where they will be creating a safe space to learn more about what Chronic Fatigue is and isn’t, and begin to build a pathway in how to live well with Chronic Fatigue.

Our bouncebackability course is centred around building resilience. Resilience has become a widely used expression within mental and physical health over the last few years. In this course we explore what we mean by resilience; the impact it has on our lives and some steps that we can take to build up our own inner strength.
