FENLAND WELLBEING WALK for Chatteris ~ TUESDAYS 13.45 P.M.

Meeting point: Chatteris Library

We are expecting light rain, but who knows as the weather is fickle, and feeling warm.

Well behaved dogs welcome but they cannot come into the library. Well behaved adults please too 😂

We meet afterwards for those who wish to join us for a 'cuppa and chat' in the library

We head to Furrowfields Play area, through the housing estates to St Peter's Drive and join New Road passing the surgery and back to the Library. It takes just over 20 mins depending upon the group. We can pause and rest . . .
OR
we reverse the route and people hop on the walking bus! We reverse the walk on a regular basis now to collect a walker on route.

Please come along and join us

As a surprise we sometimes reverse the walk, so be prepared!

Due to unexpected staff sickness we have very limited capacity for GP appointments and it may take longer for us to respond to requests.

💊 A local Pharmacist for many conditions, and for some they are able to prescribe.

👁️ A local minor eye conditions service for any eye related problems

📞NHS 111 option 2 if you need support with your Mental Health.

Temperatures are rising and a Yellow Heat-Health Alert is in place across the east of England from 22–27 May.

As we head into the bank holiday weekend, please take extra care to reduce the risk of dehydration and heat exhaustion:

💧 Drink plenty of fluids
🧴 Apply sunscreen regularly
🚶 Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day
🏡 Keep indoor spaces cool

And remember to check in on those who may need extra support.
