Some of our activities this week at Swan House have included starting work on our display for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch 🐦. We also had a fantastic time singing and dancing along with the Fenland Harmonica Guys 🎶. As well as having plenty of fun playing games together throughout the week 🎲✨

“2026 has certainly got off to a wonderful start here at Swan House. From trips out and our New Year, New Moves exercise sessions to salt dough crafts, bingo and so much more, we’ve had plenty to keep everyone busy, active and smiling.”

Our second trip out in December took us to Doddington Village Hall to watch the Puss in Boots pantomime 🎭✨
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the lively audience participation and, of course, the interval snacks were a firm favourite! A lovely afternoon full of laughter, fun and festive cheer.

We are so lucky here at Swan House to have such wonderful connections within our local community. Over this festive period, we were delighted to welcome The Willows Day Nursery Chatteris LTD for not one, but two very special visits.

The children filled our home with Christmas carols, festive cheer, and even a visit from Father Christmas! Their lovely youngsters also shared gifts with every resident, bringing so many smiles and touching moments for all. 🎅🎁

A huge thank you to everyone at The Willows Day Nursery for spreading so much joy and kindness this Christmas. ❤️✨

Plus, a massive thank you to Santa for taking time out of his very busy schedule to visit us — it truly made the experience extra magical for everyone. 🎅✨
