The second fantastic manual handling course completed today for Biocair. A theoretical and practical course conducted under Covid guidelines and company policy. Great individuals with a vast amount of experience and knowledge, never to old to learn hey Kev!!

Starting to get back to some degree of normality. Last week two driver CPC courses followed by a manual handling course for one of my local clients. This week a specialy tailored BLS first aid and people/patient manul handling course for a new client and a manual handling course for staff at the Iconix park.

Just successfully completed this weeks face to face driver CPC and First Aid training. A great week meeting and teaching fantastic people from all walks of life.

Two days of training with driver CPC and two first aid courses to finish the week. Testing times trying to convince companies that the environment we establish for face to face training is a safe one, if managed and controlled properly. It's understandable both organisations and their employees are apprehensive. Just grateful to be training!!

Nice to complete several driver CPC face to face training courses at Novadata Braintree over the last two months. As well as two EFAW courses.
Really positive feedback from all the candidates given the Covid restrictions and controls we have in place. A covid secure training environment that gave reassurance to all who attended. Several fantastic groups of professional drivers attending and a really positive JAUPT inspection and report again.

It is the employers responsibility to ensure the workplace is safe and secure, for a COVID return to work by it's employees. Organisations must have completed a risk assessment to show this and "full consultation" with employees about the measures to be implemented must have taken place. If an employee raises concerns over the risk assessment, the employer must address these concerns before recommending a return to work. Everyone plays a part in this process.

Finally got to complete two First courses for Cromwell Community College Chatteris. 9 teachers and support staff successfully completing a First Aid at work and Activities First Aid course. This being our second batch of courses completed with full Covid controls in place. Brilliant staff and a great result all round.

After a very rewarding end to 2019 and such a promising start to 2020, things could not have been better for us "Until Lockdown". However, the GOOD NEWS!! We are open for normal business and can resume face to face training again. Albeit with smaller classes and appropriate effective control measures being in place to ensure we protect everyone involved. Companies should still remember their normal safety obligations, considerations and procedures, they haven't gone away just because of Covid. Protect your staff on their return to the workplace.

Fantastic training course delivered to the sercurity and support staff at Severn Trent Water in Coventry. They opperate the Baldwin Boxall Omnicare EVC (Emergency Voice Evacuation) system intergrated with Refuge remotes / outstations and dedicated fireman lifts, for the evacuation of incapacitated or disabled personnel in an emergency. Lovely facilities, staff and hospitality. Thank you.

Another successful year of training for our company. With only 6 weeks to go till the end of our training in 2018 our course numbers are up on previous years. In 2016 a total of 54. 2017 a total of 61. This year and with 7 courses still to run a total of 78. I am really pleased. Thankyou to everyone that opted to use First Safety Training as their safety training provider.

Extremely busy over the last few months with the implementation of the new First Aid courses. The level 2 EFAW course now being upgraded to a level 3 and the launch of our Aviation First Aid and Fire Safety courses. Designed to support the aviation industry, sports and recreational pilots and the (BMAA). British Microlight Aircraft Association. I had a fantastic weekend hosted by the BMAA in oxford with genuinely passionate flyers looking to improve our sport.
You made the courses folks and a big thankyou to you all.

Well what a start to 2017!!
I never imagined it was going to be this busy. 3 Manual Handling courses. A 2 day FAW refresher, 3 Emergency First Aid at Work courses, 2 Fire awareness course and 9 Driver CPC courses. With a run of another 4 next week in Braintree and London. All this in the first two months.
My hard work is finally paying off.

It has been another busy month for First Safety Training - Cambridge. We have had a run of successful First Aid, Paediatric and Driver CPC training courses and are about to "sign off" on a detailed Health and Safety Policy, its plans and procedures which were established from scratch for a major player within the transport industry.

A big thank you to our legal adviser and every one that has attended the training this month. The full of life characters are what make our training courses so much fun to teach and there are plenty of you out there.
