ANXIETY... would you like to get rid of Anxiety? If you answered yes, consider this..
If you want to get rid of anxiety, your brain will automatically object to this.
We all need a level of anxiety in our life to survive. Anxiety is part of our fight or flight response. If we were faced with a big dog chasing us, we would want our anxiety levels to respond and kick in quickly enough to be able to make us run away! If we had a big scary dog growling at us and we had no anxious response at all - well, that's not quite right!
Now that you appreciate that we may need some 'anxiety' at certain times, consider this... How much anxiety do we need? How much anxiety do you display?
Sometimes our anxiety responses can be a bit off-kilter and we behave in an extremely anxious manner when we probably didn't need to.
Anxiety is not something that you have - you behave anxiously - you don't have it, and as I always like to say "Can you put it in a wheelbarrow? No, that's because it's not something that you have, it is something that you do."
