Today I am expressing my thanks for and celebrating my sista Dawn Edge, Professor of Mental Health and Inclusivity at the University of Manchester. Dawn is the University of Manchester's first Black woman professor and currently features in the exhibition Phenomenal Women at the Southbank Centre in London.

Dawn is committed to addressing health inequalities and much of her research is dedicated to enhancing mental health and wellbeing in Black communities. Meaningful collaboration with service users is at the heart of her work, partnering with community members throughout the research process. She is currently leading a team that is co-creating and evaluating Culturally-adapted Family Intervention (CaFi).

Professor Dawn Edge is indeed Briliant, Excellent and Exceptional!
