A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first Menopause Focus Taste. Learn. Nourish. evening at The Kitchen in Cheadle Hulme. What a special night it was.

This event was extra special because we were joined by our wonderful guest Dr Katie Hilton from She Health Clinic, who was on hand to answer all those important medical questions around menopause.

Guests were welcomed with drinks and nibbles before gathering around the kitchen island for Angela’s cookery demonstration, while I shared the nutrition insights behind the dishes and how these foods can support your body through the menopause transition and beyond.

We focused particularly on heart health and bone health - two areas that quietly change during menopause, even though we can’t always see what’s happening on the inside. Through simple, nourishing food choices, we can give our bodies the nutrients they need to thrive and protect long-term health.

The evening ended around the table sharing the food together, asking questions, and having open conversations in a warm, relaxed environment where we could cut through some of the misinformation around menopause and provide clear, expert guidance.

It was such a fantastic evening that we’re already looking forward to running more.

Our next Taste. Learn. Nourish. event is on 7th May focussing on lighter recipes as we head into spring - we’d love to see you there.

The Perfect Mothers Day gift

🌿 Taste. Learn. Nourish
🌸Spring Edition | 7th May

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring evening as we step into spring with our next Taste. Learn. Nourish event.

The evening begins with welcome drinks and nibbles, before we gather around the kitchen island to watch the wonderful Angela Boggiano prepare a selection of fresh, seasonal dishes.

As Angela cooks, I’ll be sharing simple insights into how these foods can support your long-term health and nourish your body. You’ll be able to taste the dishes as we go, ask questions, and pick up plenty of practical tips along the way.

It’s a bit like watching a TV cookery show… except you’re actually there - seeing, smelling and tasting everything as it happens.

After the demonstrations, we’ll invite you to take your seats at our beautifully laid table to enjoy your main course and dessert together.

✨ A wonderful evening out
✨ Delicious seasonal food
✨ Simple ideas to support your health
✨ Recipe cards to take home and recreate the dishes yourself

You’ll leave feeling inspired with new recipes, practical knowledge, and confidence to nourish yourself and your family.

💝 And with Mother’s Day approaching, this also makes a lovely gift to enjoy together.

We would love you to join us.

Today, on International Women’s Day, I want to celebrate some of the incredible women I have the privilege of working alongside in my business.

👩‍🍳Angela Boggiano, owner of At The Kitchen and my wonderful co-host for our Taste. Learn. Nourish. events.

Angela and I share the same passion for delicious, nourishing food that is simple to make and easy to enjoy in everyday life. Over the last 12 months we’ve welcomed many wonderful guests to our evening events.

It's quite fitting that our next event is on Thursday 12th March, with a focus on women's health in the menopause and beyond.

👩‍⚕️Dr Katie and Dr Laura from She Health Clinic
I work alongside these two brilliant women to support their patients with weight loss using both my pharmacy and nutrition knowledge.

Their passion for improving women’s health is incredible, particularly in areas where many women feel they haven’t been heard or supported, such as menopause and PMDD. Their personalised and compassionate approach helps women feel truly seen and treated as individuals.

🧠💪Dr Rachael Hewitt, PhD
Rachael is not only a fully qualified personal trainer, but also a health psychologist in training with a PhD in health behaviour change. Together we created our programme Beyond Calories – Redefining Weight Loss for Women.

With Rachael's support arround behaviour change the progress our participants have made in just a few weeks has been amazing to see.

These women inspire me every time we speak. I have chosen to collaborate with them because we share the same mission: improving women’s health and helping women feel informed, confident and back in control.

Unfortunately, women’s health hasn’t always been prioritised which has contributed to the health gap we still see today.

Because of this, many women turn to social media for advice. But not everyone sharing information is regulated or evidence-based.

That’s why collaboration matters.

Working together, we can cut through the misinformation and provide women with trusted, supportive and practical guidance that helps them improve their health in the long term.

This weekend is your last chance to grab one of the final tickets for our next Taste. Learn. Nourish. evening at the kitchen 9on 12th March with me and Angela Boggiano, and there are only a handful of tickets left.

If you’ve ever wished you could learn about menopause, nutrition and cooking in a way that feels relaxed, inspiring and genuinely enjoyable… this is exactly what this evening is about.

We’ll start with drinks and nibbles before gathering around the kitchen island for a live cookery demonstration with Angela, a bit like being on a cooking show, except you’re actually there. You can smell the food, taste it as we go, and ask any questions you like.

I’ll be sharing the nutrition insights behind the recipes and explaining how simple food choices can support your health through menopause and beyond. Angela will help demystify the cooking side, and we’re also joined by our special guests SHE Health Clinic, who will be there to answer any medical questions you might have.

After the demonstration, we’ll sit down together and enjoy a beautiful meal around the table, time to relax, chat, and connect with other lovely women. Some people come with friends, others come on their own, but we’ll be there to welcome everyone.

By the end of the evening you’ll leave understanding that menopause is about far more than hot flushes, and feel confident about how nutrition and simple healthful choices can support your body through menopause and beyond.

There are just a handful of tickets remaining, so if you’d love to join us, now is the moment to book. Link in my bio or DM or comment below for the link.

Bone loss speeds up after menopause and you can’t feel it happening.

1 in 3 women will experience a fracture in their lifetime.

You can protect your bones now with:

✔ Strength training and weight-bearing exercise
✔ 3 portions of calcium-rich foods daily
✔ Protein at each meal
✔ Vitamin D supplementation in autumn and winter (10 micrograms daily in the UK)

This is one supplement I routinely recommend it’s safe, evidence-based, and relevant for most of us in the UK.

👩‍🍳If you want to learn how to do this in person join me at my event At The Kitchen in Cheadle Hulme on Thursday 12th March or if you need 121 support book a discovery call - links for both below or drop me a DM or comment

One of my clients recently described our work together as “transformational”

She came to me after being told she was in the pre-diabetic range. She was already exercising. She felt like she was eating “well enough.” And yet her blood sugar readings were increasing.

Over five months, we didn’t do anything extreme.

We refined her approach.
We personalised her nutrition.
We focused on supporting her metabolic health properly.

We worked on balanced meals, blood sugar response, realistic routines, and most importantly consistency.

Her readings are now out of the pre-diabetic range 🎉

But what she’s most proud of isn’t just the numbers. It’s that she now understands her body and knows how to make choices to support her health that are sustainable long term.

Pre-diabetes is a warning sign but it’s also an opportunity. With the right support, small simple steps done consistently can give massive health benefits.

If you’ve been told your blood sugars are creeping up, or you’re worried about your future health, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Book a free discovery call or drop me DM if you’d like to discuss how I could help support you.

Menopause is more than hot flushes.

It’s more than sleep changes.
More than brain fog.
More than “that age”.

Under the surface, your hormones are shifting and that affects your heart, your bones, your metabolism, your long-term health.

And most women are left trying to piece it all together from social media influencers

📱Eat more protein.
📱Cut carbs.
📱Lift weights.
📱Don’t eat after 7pm.

It’s exhausting.

If you’re doing what you’ve always done and your body isn’t responding the way it used to this evening is for you.

Taste. Learn. Nourish. - Eating Well for Menopause
Thursday 12th March
At The Kitchen, Cheadle Hulme

This isn’t about restriction.
It isn’t about cutting out the foods you love.

It’s about understanding:
• What’s actually changing
• What your body now needs more of
• How to balance your plate in a realistic way
• What simple additions make the biggest difference

You’ll enjoy:
A welcome drink and nibbles
A live cookery demonstration
Evidence-based nutrition guidance
A sit-down meal
Q&A with SHE Health
Recipe cards + a 3-day meal plan to take home

And yes - it’s a brilliant night out.

Supportive. Warm. Interactive.
The kind of evening where nobody wants to leave.

You’ll walk out clearer, calmer, and confident about what to aim for - instead of guessing.

There are 6 tickets remaining.
£70 per person or 2 for £130.

If you’re ready to understand what’s happening inside your body and how to support it properly - I’d love to see you there.

04/03/2026

Menopause is a window of opportunity.

What you do in your 40s and 50s influences your heart, bones, brain and metabolism for the next 30–40 years. That’s powerful.

Many women notice that what used to “work” for weight loss suddenly doesn’t anymore. But slimmer does not automatically mean healthier.

Strict dieting and under-eating can:

• Reduce muscle

• Slow metabolism

• Increase cravings

• Make long-term weight maintenance harder

During menopause we naturally lose muscle more easily and muscle is protective. It keeps our metabolism higher, supports blood sugar balance and helps us stay strong and independent as we age.

Instead of chasing the scales, think:

👉 Strength

👉 Muscle

👉 Waist measurement

👉 Metabolic health

This isn’t about perfection.

It’s about consistency.

Small simple steps, done consistently, can give massive health benefits 🤍
