The photo on the left? That’s when she bought her wedding dress last June in a size 16.

Why weighing more than once a week can do more harm than good

Let’s be honest — when you’re trying really hard to stay on plan, it’s tempting to hop on the scales every single day.

But daily weighing? It can do more damage than good — and here’s why:

✅ Your weight naturally fluctuates every day

Even if you’re totally on plan, the scales might still jump up.

This could be down to:

• Water retention

• Hormones

• Sleep quality

• Salt intake

• How much food or liquid is still in your system

So that sudden increase? Not fat gain — just normal body fluctuations

✅ Daily weighing fuels obsession, not progress

Hi, my name is Karen, after having my children I found it very difficult to lose weight. I have tried many diets and none of them seemed to work for me. I felt fat, frumpy, lacking in energy and had low self esteem. Then I discovered Cambridge Weight Plan! It was easy to follow, I lost the weight and managed to keep it off for the first time ever. I loved it so much I became a Consultant.

It doesn’t matter if you have a little or a lot to lose, male or female, I will be there for you every step of the way with a kind and empathetic approach.
