🌈 🕊️💙 I’m was devastated to hear about the passing of Spike a couple of weeks ago, he’s another one that I have groomed from the very beginning, he came in every 4 weeks and I got to know him and his owners very well.
He was such a lovely boy and I will miss him dearly.

I really didn’t want to start 2026 negatively but I feel I’ve been forced into this after my very first customer of 2026 failed to turn up yesterday.
It’s an extremely frustrating issue for me and lots of other dog groomers I know, no shows and people being more than 15 mins late causes loss of earnings and also means I am standing around in my cabin wasting time and getting more and more fed up.
I LOVE my job but it’s the humans that spoil it for me, not the dogs.
I am now looking into a system that sends multiple reminders and either takes a deposit or full payment in advance, this seems to be the only way to stop people just “forgetting” to turn up.

I’m so sorry for the rant but I hope you can understand my frustration as this has been happening so frequently you wouldn’t believe it.

Looking forward I can’t wait to see you and your lovely dogs in 2026, thank you for your continued custom.

Unfortunately I’ve had a no show today, just a reminder that if you don’t turn up for your appointment I will have to charge you for it as it doesn’t give me time to fill that space and causes me a sudden loss of earnings.

Rocco and Verbie were my last dogs in today.
