From going all in with themed days and fancy dress, to celebrating each other and creating unforgettable moments for our residents - our team truly go above and beyond every single day. ✨

At Court House, it’s often the little moments that mean the most… (and of course, plenty of love from Mr Darcy too) 🐶🥰✨

The laughter during a game of darts, a singalong where every word is remembered, or the joy on residents’ faces when something simple brings a smile. 💫

It’s the staff who go above and beyond every day. From taking the time to sit and chat, to remembering the little details, and making each person feel truly seen and included. 💕

From themed evenings where culture is shared, to trips out for favourite treats, to a warm smile in the middle of the night when someone needs reassurance - these moments might seem small, but they mean everything. 🥰

We’re so proud of the team and the care they give, and so grateful to be part of such a special family here at Court House. 🥹💛

We took our crafts outside again yesterday and created our very own Mad Hatter centrepieces all ready for our Alice in Wonderland themed supper on Thursday. 🌞🎩✨

With playing cards, flowers, and a little bit of Wonderland magic, each one turned out completely unique. 🫖❤️

Lots of smiles and creativity in the sunshine. 🥰

Yesterday we brought the pub to the garden and made the most of the sunshine. 🌞

There was plenty of fun with soft darts, along with cocktails, mocktails and cider served in our lovely pub-style pint glasses. 🍺✨

A relaxed afternoon, good company, and lots of smiles all round. 🥰

We started the afternoon with Sit n Fit n Fun – a gentle exercise session with plenty of movement, stretches, a bit of dancing and laughter to get everyone feeling good. 💪✨

Then this evening, we swapped exercise for something equally enjoyable… cheese and charcuterie! 🧀🥖

Residents enjoyed a lovely selection of cheeses, cured meats, olives and breads, all shared around the table with a glass of wine and good company. 🍷

A very nice way to round off the day at Court House. 🥰

We got creative making butterfly bunting yesterday using tissue paper, and a little imagination. It was lovely to see everyone’s different designs come to life - no two butterflies were the same! 💕✨💫

I’d love your help with something. 🎶✨

Music has an incredible way of bringing back memories, even when words are hard to find. 🥰 We also often love a dance (me very much included 🪩 💃🏼)

I’m hoping to create personalised playlists for our residents using songs that meant something to them throughout their lives - songs they danced to, sang along to, or simply loved listening to. 💕

If you’re a family member or friend, we’d love to hear from you. 🥰

What songs did your loved one enjoy?
It could be a favourite singer, a song they always danced to, or one that brings back happy memories. 💃🏼

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that we decided to take our arts and crafts outside and enjoy the sunshine. 🌞

Residents created their own colourful landscapes, painting mountains, skies and fields of flowers while chatting and enjoying the fresh air. 🎨

Of course we paused for a well-earned break with ice lollies along the way! 🍦

Mr Darcy also joined us for the afternoon and seemed very happy supervising from the shade… before promptly falling asleep. 😴🐶

We have some very special chicks at Court House at the moment… and a few of us transformed into bunnies & lambs for Easter too! 😆🐰🐣

Earlier today we had our pub afternoon with cocktails, beers and darts 🎯🍹

But we couldn’t resist having our newly hatched chicks make the rounds as well, bringing lots of smiles (and a few very gentle cuddles!). 🥰

Safe to say these tiny visitors have been very popular around the home!
