🌼 Spring Craft Fun! 🌼

To celebrate the nicer weather and the arrival of spring, we got creative and made beautiful daffodils from old egg boxes. ♻️🌼

It was a little bit fiddly at times, but the results were definitely worth it! We think they look fantastic and they’ve brought us lots of cheer and a lovely reminder that spring is on the way. 🌷

✨ Celebrating International Women’s Day ✨

We celebrated International Women’s Day by getting creative and making collages filled with empowering words that describe us as women. 💜

It was a wonderful activity where we shared positivity, lifted each other up, and reflected on the strength, kindness, and resilience that women bring to the world every day. We had such a great time creating together and celebrating one another! 🤩 👏

🐾 BIG Dog Walk Fundraiser! 🌊

We’re planning a BIG dog walk to help raise money for a minibus so we can enjoy a trip to the seaside!

Join us on 10th May as we complete 2 laps around Cheddar Reservoir. We’re asking for a suggested donation of £2 per person for anyone who would like to take part.

You don’t need a dog to join in – everyone is welcome to come along for the walk. The more the merrier!

Time: TBC – we’ll confirm this soon. We hope to see lots of friendly faces (and wagging tails!) on the day. 🐶

We were delighted to welcome the Blagdon Ukulele Group, who treated us to a wonderful afternoon of music. They played and sang a range of our favourite songs, and everyone joined in for a good old sing-along. It was such a jolly afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and great music! 🎸

We’ve also been celebrating Holi, the Festival of Colour 🌈 by putting up bright and colourful decorations around the home. Our residents joined in the fun by colouring some beautiful posters, which are now proudly displayed for everyone to enjoy. It’s been lovely to see so much creativity and colour brighten up the day! 🤩

We had a fantastic time celebrating Chinese New Year 🇨🇳 We put up some beautiful decorations, held a fun quiz about China, and discovered our zodiac animals! Many residents shared a good laugh when they found out they were pigs, rats, or monkeys!
