Our residents have been busy creating beautiful calendars using collages made from a variety of pictures. Each one is unique and now brightens up their bedrooms! 🌟

We’re so proud of their creativity and the personal touch they’ve added to their space. 💖

Yesterday, we joined in the vibrant celebrations of Makar Sankranti, the Indian kite festival, with some creativity and a lot of fun! 🎉🌞

Our residents have been hard at work making colourful kites and beautiful posters to display around the home. We think they look absolutely lovely and capture the spirit of the festival perfectly! 🌈✨

Makar Sankranti is all about bringing light and joy, and we couldn’t be happier to share in the festivities, even if we’re not flying kites in the sky. Instead, we’re flying high with creativity and community spirit!

🐾 Meet our furry friend, Porridge! 🐾

We absolutely love our animals here at Greenhill, so we were beyond excited when we got to cuddle Porridge, the adorable English Sheepdog! 🐕💖

Porridge is a regular visitor, owned by one of our residents' children, and despite her large size, she’s gentle and well-behaved. 🐾 She is pure joy! 🧣

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration! We crafted colourful crowns adorned with sparkles for our party, enjoyed lively games like charades, and danced the night away. 🎊🥳

Our homemade cocktails, The Groovy Greenhill and The Early To Bed, added a special touch to our festivities. We held hands and sang Auld Lang Syne, welcoming the New Year with joy!

On New Year’s Day, we took a quieter approach, indulging in word searches and jigsaws. In the afternoon, we created inspiring New Year collages, filled with words that symbolize our hopes for 2026: family, friends, good health, laughter, joy, sunshine, and happiness. 🌞💖

🎄✨ Festive Outing at Wells Cathedral! ✨🎄

Before Christmas, we had the pleasure of attending the Age UK Christmas Carol Service at Wells Cathedral. The weather was chilly but sunny, perfect for a carol-filled morning without getting wet! ❄️☀️

The service was wonderful, with heartwarming readings, beautiful choir performances, and some carols we could all join in singing. 🎶💛

It was a truly lovely morning out, and we were happy to return to the warmth for a lovely lunch! 🍽️🎅

We recently had an absolutely wonderful performance from the lovely Maria Florey! 🌟 Dressed to impress and bringing some jingle bells along, Maria truly got everyone into the Christmas spirit. 🎅✨🎄🎶
