🤝 We loved hosting the launch of their bold new 5 year strategy, and bringing together such a brilliant mix of supporters, partners, volunteers and members in one space.

👏 From hearing powerful, personal stories from Linc’s Patient Peer Group, to connecting with the people behind the work, the whole evening felt full of warmth, honesty and shared purpose.

💡For two days, entrepreneurs, technologists, innovators, and community partners explored how to strengthen local networks, drive inclusive innovation, grow talent and technical expertise,and build locally with a global mindset

💡 Last night at the Tech Futures Summit, we explored how shapes startup success.

✏️ Freddie Fforde, Patch’s founder, joined Alex Cottrell from the to discuss how communities create momentum, ideas and support.

🤝 We reflected on everything from building community through countless conversations and city-wide partnerships, to connecting charities, social enterprises, and the tech sector to tackle real-world challenges.

🎤 Guests then shared projects ranging from supporting young people in the music industry, to building AI tools for construction, to launching new cybersecurity ventures.

She's back 🎊

Last week, we welcomed the legendary back to Patch for the Great LuinLuland Clothes Swap as part of .

Lu is on a mission to help women find their confidence, embrace new experiences, and feel empowered. And she does it in the most joyful way imaginable.

Lu joined us last year for a talk, and we were very excited to hear she wanted to come back for something a little different this year - an evening for women to come together to refresh their wardrobes, find their next favourite outfit, and walk away feeling a little more themselves.

We’re looking for a Junior Content Creator to join our growing team, helping bring the life of Patch to the surface through brilliant content, thoughtful storytelling, and warm, human communications.

In this role, you’ll act as a:

📸 Story catcher – visit our neighbourhood spaces, capture high-quality photography and short-form video, and turn everyday moments into content that makes Patch feel alive.

📱Voice on social – help shape our organic social presence with engaging, brand-led content that showcases the energy of our communities, our members, and our mission.

✍️ Creative communicator – write clear, warm copy across social, campaigns, and collateral, helping more people discover what Patch is all about.

🚀 Growth enabler – work closely with our Marketing Lead and wider team to create content that doesn’t just look great, but helps drive tours, bookings, and real local connection.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who is full of creative energy, loves making things happen, and wants to grow with a mission-led business.
