Progress you can actually see 👏✨

This photo shows a visible reduction in fluid retention in the lower leg following Manual Lymphatic Drainage treatment for my lovely client living with lipedema 💛

By supporting the lymphatic system and encouraging fluid movement, lymphatic drainage can help reduce swelling, ease discomfort, and improve mobility and overall wellbeing.

Lipedema is a chronic condition that deserves understanding, support, and specialist care — and results like this remind us how important the right treatment approach can be.

Drain it out, sculpt it up ✨

Madero wood therapy isn’t just relaxing — it’s your lymphatic system’s new best friend. Using smooth wooden tools, this treatment helps move excess fluid, reduce puffiness, and kickstart your body’s natural detox flow.

Translation? Less bloating, more definition, and that glow-from-within look 🔥

Bonus: it feels like a deep, satisfying massage while shaping and smoothing at the same time.

Snatched. Drained. Glowing. 💆‍♀️

✨ New Treatment Alert: Myofascial Cupping (Dry Cupping) ✨

I'm excited to introduce myofascial cupping, also known as dry cupping, as part of my massage therapy treatments!

This technique uses specially designed cups to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues, creating space within the muscles and fascia. Unlike traditional massage, which applies pressure downward, cupping works by lifting and decompressing tight areas—making it a powerful complement to hands-on therapy.

💆‍♀️ Benefits of Myofascial Cupping:
• Relieves muscle tension and tightness
• Improves blood flow and circulation
• Supports lymphatic drainage and removal of waste products
• Enhances mobility and flexibility
• Helps reduce pain and inflammation
• Speeds up recovery from workouts or injury

When combined with massage, cupping can help target deeper layers of tissue more effectively, allowing for longer-lasting relief and improved overall results.

You may notice temporary circular marks after treatment—this is completely normal and a sign of increased circulation to the area.

Ready to experience the benefits for yourself? Book your session today and take your recovery and relaxation to the next level. 🌿

The visible results of Manual Lymphatic Drainage are amazing… ✨ but the real magic is what it does beneath the surface.

While you may notice reduced puffiness, improved skin tone, and a more sculpted appearance, the true benefits go far deeper—supporting your body’s natural healing processes.

Here’s why MLD is so powerful:
• Reduces swelling and water retention
• Boosts lymph flow
• Supports immune function
• Helps reduce inflammation
• Promotes relaxation and stress relief
• Can improve skin health and clarity
• Aids post-surgery recovery

It’s not just about how you look—it’s about how your body feels and functions. 💧

I get asked all the time… what’s the difference between deep tissue and sports massage?

Here’s a quick breakdown:

💆‍♀️ Deep Tissue Massage
Focuses on slow, firm pressure to target deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s great for chronic tension, tight knots, and general muscle stiffness.

🏃‍♂️ Sports Massage
It helps improve performance, prevent injury, and speed up recovery. Techniques can vary depending on whether you need pre-event prep, post-workout recovery, or injury support.

👉 Which one should you choose?

Go for deep tissue if you’re dealing with long-term tension or tightness.

Choose sports massage if you’re active, training regularly, or recovering from exercise or injury. Not sure which is right for you? Just ask — I’m always happy to help guide you! 😊

🚨 Spoiler Alert 🚨

One massage alone can’t undo years of trauma.

Healing doesn’t work like that — and it’s important to say it out loud. Massage isn’t a magic fix, but it is a powerful tool that can support you alongside other practices on your road to recovery.

Think of it as one piece of a bigger picture: self-care, therapy, rest, movement, and time.

✨ The benefits of regular massage, though, are real:
• Helps reduce stress and calm the nervous system
• Eases muscle tension and chronic pain
• Improves circulation and flexibility
• Supports better sleep
• Encourages mind-body connection and awareness
• Creates space for relaxation and emotional release

Consistency matters.

Healing is a journey ✨️

✨ Post-Operative Recovery with Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) ✨

Did you know that Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) can play a huge role in your recovery after surgery?

MLD is a gentle, specialised technique designed to support your body’s lymphatic system, helping to move excess fluid and reduce swelling after surgical procedures. When done correctly, it can significantly improve comfort and healing during the post-operative period.

💆‍♀️ Post-operative benefits of MLD include:
• Reducing swelling and fluid retention
• Helping minimise bruising
• Supporting faster healing
• Reducing discomfort and tightness
• Helping prevent fibrosis (hard lumps under the skin)
• Improving overall recovery results

👩‍⚕️ Who can benefit from post-op MLD?
MLD is commonly recommended after procedures such as:
• Liposuction
• Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)
• BBL
• Breast surgery
• Facial surgery
• Body contouring procedures

As a qualified Post-Operative Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner, I provide safe, tailored treatments designed to support your body through the healing process and help you achieve the best possible results from your surgery.

If you’re preparing for surgery, suffering from chronic conditions, or currently recovering, MLD may be an important part of your aftercare plan.

📩 Message me to learn more or to book your post-operative drainage sessions.

Neck and shoulders feeling tight and knotted?

The upper trapezius and splenius capitis muscles are often the culprits.

One technique I use for this is a trigger point release called Pin and Stretch.

The tight spot in the muscle is gently pinned with pressure, while the muscle is slowly stretched. This helps the muscle relax, improves blood flow, and reduces that stubborn tension.

When combined with sports massage, it can really tip the scale from short-term relief to longer-lasting results — helping your neck and upper back move and feel much more normal again.

Sometimes a stubborn knot just needs the right nudge to let go 💪

Sports massage is not just for athletes and gym goers.

PNF stretching
It stands for Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation… which i think is my favourite phrase to say out loud.

But it’s not just a fancy name.

PNF works by gently contracting a muscle before stretching it, which tells your nervous system it’s safe to relax and lengthen the muscle further. The result?
✔ Less neck stiffness
✔ Less “computer posture” tightness through the upper back
✔ More normal, comfortable movement

It’s one of my go-to techniques when someone’s neck feels like it’s been welded to their shoulders after too much desk time.

So if your neck feels tight, crunchy, or like it’s carrying the weight of the world, PNF might be exactly what it needs.
