Claudia Chinnock Sports Massage Sports Massage Therapy for all your aches and pains. After all our bodies are our 'temples' so we need to nurture them.....

Having always been a keen sports enthusiast from competing in running to team
participation and more latterly, boxing, i have concluded that our muscles need
regular massage maintenance to encourage rest and repair in the interim and as
a preventative towards incurring injuries. Although massage therapy is often seen
as a luxury, i feel that if we are to facilitate our bodies in reaching their maximum
in whatever sport we take part in, we need to look at ourselves holistically;
starting with diet and nutrition to muscle repair and preparation pre and post
sport.

So second event of 2022 and this time with the ladies travelling 449kms from Vienna to Budapest In merely 3 days via Slovakia!

To say it was gruelling in parts is a major understatement but they persevered in true girl power fashion!!

We, The Crew were on fire in supporting this and I was glad to be reunited with my Club Peloton extended family! When it comes to solidarity and cohesion the team does it effortlessly and I always feel extremely lucky to be a part of that!

So there ends the 5th and it was yet another cracker, this time from Le Puys En Velay to Cannes in 3 days! Some 560km and climbing mania, the cyclists did a marvellous job and smashed it! Crew as ever were flat out firing on all cylinders and closed events for 2019 with a bang! Thanks to everyone crew and riders for keeping it real and freezing, jeez it was cold 🥶! So Pedelle 2019 Siena To Rome in 3 days was a veritable success from start to finish! The cyclists excelled themselves in their endurance and the crew followed suit! Here is a small insight into the fun and hard work that ensued..

Italy 🇮🇹 obviously was stunning and the people wonderful with lashings of pasta/pizza and gelato!

So my latest working trip to South Africa did not disappoint.. it’s a place I’ve longed to go to for years and it was simply spectacular on every level, the country was beautiful and the people equally wonderful! I did work and if you look hard enough you will see a few snaps of me in action.. my main client Julian was camera shy 😂 (except for selfies!) but helping out the amazing local sports massage team I had a memorable week, met some awesome characters and had so many giggles! Thanks to Julian & HotChillee, (reunited with dear friends) and Dan & Team for the experience! Cape Rouleur is an event to end all events! I truly am lucky 😊.

didn’t disappoint!! Smooth operation from the crew and riders as always ! Laughter was in abundance and the solidarity amongst the crew was second to none. So from 17 August to 18 September three guys endeavoured to climb100 of the greatest and hardest climbs in UK in 29 days!!!!

In pictures you will see how their journey evolved (with gaps as I facilitated for first 5 days and last 5 days) but suffice to say they came, they rode, they conquered 5296 km no less, equivalent of 9.04 Everests and completed the challenge ni**le free raising money for worthy causes including Alzheimer’s Research Uk, Cancer Research UK, Coram Children’s society & LandAid charity ..

The money is still coming in and these guys are a true inspiration demonstrating that if you have the grit, determination, perseverance and fitness you can achieve your goals..

I’m still in awe 😲👏🏽🏅...

As London to Cannes, No.3 (for me), draws to a close, 6 days, a lot of km’s of riding, and even more massages and healing treatments later, it’s done and dusted!

As always didn’t cease to impress and same goes to the stoic nature of all the therapists of Roadside Therapy!

These next few days I’m functioning with half an eye open but otherwise humbled by the money raised for Coram!

So as another year closes I look back at 2017 and relish every opportunity and experience I’ve had, I’ve visited a variety of countries, gained new skills and am still learning.
