We are a 64 bedded unit consisting of fifty eight private bedrooms and a high observation unit. Each private bedroom has its own en-suite facilities and a television with remote control. We provide meals via room service and can arrange catering for your relatives and friends upon request. Our consultants are subject to strict vetting procedures to ensure only those with the appropriate experience
and qualifications are granted Practising Privileges. Springfield Hospital's parent company is Ramsay Health Care UK, an Australian company with a network of private hospitals and treatment centres across the country. The ‘NJR Quality Data Provider’ certificate scheme was introduced to offer hospitals a blueprint for reaching high quality standards relating to patient safety and to reward those who have met the registry’s high targets in the achievement of the quality of the data collected. We were awarded “JAG” accreditation in 2023. This accreditation verifies that the endoscopy service at Springfield are meeting rigorous, high quality standards which are used across the UK and Republic of Ireland to support improvement in clinical care and the patient experience. This means that patients can feel confident in their endoscopy service and be assured of receiving high quality consistent care. At the end of 2012 we ranked 1st on an external and independent Private Healthcare website earning us the title of "Patient Choice 2012".
