We have been providing fabulous eyecare for all in Chelmsford, Essex and surrounding villages for over 30 years!
We have clinics for sight testing and contact lens fitting 6 days a week, all run by qualified Optometrists supported by our Dispensing Opticians and highly experienced Optical Assistants.

Our services include a comprehensive eye examination including tests for glaucoma, other health and ocular conditions, along with our Optometrists providing the following tests;

Home Visits
If you are unable to visit the practice, we can come to you! We do hold the contract to perform eye examinations privately & under the NHS in the comfort of your own home.
We will bring a large selection of eyewear frames with us, however if you know what you would like, please let us know and we shall bring these with us.
What prescription Lenses, plastic, glass ?
We have the latest lens materials to choose from, including thinner and lighter lenses, and all the with latest anti-reflection and scratch-resistant coatings. Not all lenses are the same; we often recommend branded lenses, like Zeiss, Kodak, Rodenstock, Nikon, and Essilor lenses for the best coatings and durability.
What else do we do?
We are heavily involved with Broomfield Hospital, Primary Eyecare and the Essex LOC in providing various schemes. This helps hospitals free up acute appointments, reduce waiting times and enables patients to be seen at our practice in Chelmer Village at their own convenience.
We are on one level and all rooms are wheelchair friendly.
There is plenty of free non-restrictive parking and designated disabled bays available.
We do have the contracts for Minor Eye Condition Services (MECS), Children’s Diagnostic Vision Scheme, Glaucoma Reading Scheme and the Post Operative Cataract Service.
We work collectively with Moorfield Eye Hospital, Ophthalmologists at Springfield Hospital and SpaMedica, Local GPS and their surgeries and the School Vision Service. These are all professionals that we receive regular referrals from.

We have an amazing choice of hand selected beautiful eyewear along with a stylish selection of Sunglasses.
Our team will use their expertise to help you with your spectacles and lens choices. They will guide you through every step which is sometimes a daunting and time-consuming process.
We do stock a large range of designer glasses from Tomford, Oliver Peoples, Bvlgari, Prada, Tiffany, Face a Face, Silhouette, RayBan, Nike, Ted Baker, Prada, Polo Ralph Lauren, plus many more that you may not have heard of yet…
Not forgetting our children’s eyewear, proud stockist of Roald Dahl, Disney Princesses, Lazer, RayBan Junior, plus many more children’s designs. We pretty much hold the largest collection of children’s glasses in Chelmsford.
