We are hiring autonomous paramedics, NQP1s, NQP2s and EMTs/AAPs to work on our Frontline contract based from our Chelmsford Ambulance Station. 🚨🚑 Our frontline contract supports East of England Ambulance Service working 10:00 to 22:00 and 19:00 to 04:00 shifts. You will be responsible for the care, assessment, treatment, and appropriate clinical outcome of patients both in emergency and urgent care settings.

If you are a qualified paramedic, you will have a fundamental role in the mentoring and development of our Newly Qualified Paramedics (NQP) embarking on their NQP programme along with other newly qualified non-registrant clinicians. If you are an NQP we have a recognised NQP programme to support your journey.

Please join us in congratulating our latest CERAD cohort on successfully passing their course! All three students have passed with flying colours. A special shout-out to NQP Finlay, who is now beginning his frontline shifts with us and continuing to progress in his career. And to Tech Jamie, who is advancing his skills and helping us deliver even better patient care across our horse-racing operations.

The short days and darker evenings made this course especially challenging. However, this gave students valuable real-world experience, exposing them to reduced visibility, slower safe speeds, difficulty judging oncoming traffic, hidden terrain, and harder-to-spot pedestrians. These conditions ultimately help shape them into safer, more confident drivers for the future.

What a fantastic night at Chelmsford Racecourse! Congratulations to the latest cohort of CERAD students who passed their final assessment, Omar, Abigael and Bina. You’ve all overcome personal challenges, from self-doubt and existing driving habits to balancing your studies alongside your degree. We are extremely proud of your progress and how much you’ve grown over the four-week course. We hope to see you all again in the Medicare classroom or working on our contracts.
