July is Dry Eye Awareness Month 👀

Dry eye disease affects up to 50% of those over 65 years old, with prevalence increasing with age. It is 50% more common in women than men.

Although some patients may live with dry eye disease with no symptoms at all, symptoms can include:
- Gritty, Scratchy, or Sore Sensation
- Redness
- Burning or Stinging
- Blurred Vision
- Watery Eyes
- Light Sensitivity
- Tired Eyes

Dry eye disease is a chronic condition, which means it can only be managed, not cured. However, at James Bryan Opticians we are here to help!
Our Optometrists can conduct an in depth assesment of the health of your eyes and advise on the best course of action.
