Colette has been successfully running Essex Acupuncture Room for well over a decade. Her first honours degree was in Health Science in Western Medicine and second in Acupuncture. Over 30 years experience in health care enables her to deliver well grounded care to those coming through her door. Colette works with all age groups from the healthy who want to sustain that right up to acute or chronically ill needing help to relieve or manage health issues. For all new and prospective clients Colette happily offers a free 15 minute consultation to assess how She can help you. Routine follow up appointments are £50, initial consultation and treatment are £60

So many folk have attended thanks to spouses, family members or friends and we love that. However we don’t want folk taking it for granted that because it helped them or worked for them it’ll work for all their loved ones. Acupuncture needs to be a personal choice not a coerced one. We make it a point to offer a free 15min non obligatory telephone chat before going ahead with appointment booking. It’s a way of checking we are a good fit for you and what the expectations are.

Thanks to studying under the late Jim Chalmers (R.I.P). Many years ago I’ve been fully accredited in this part of Acupuncture. For sure there are folk out there doing it as a stand alone mainly using the NADA protocol and that has a place. However when receiving auriculotheraoy from a fully fledged Acupuncturist you can be sure it’ll be tailored to your needs holistically ( bonus for sure)

It always makes my heart sing when folks get the results they want and that they heartily and kindly recommend us. However if folk aren’t ready to accept Acupuncture in their lives then all the lovely words from friends and family don’t touch them. Most people arrive at clinic because they have done their own research and are ready or at last stop saloon! ( which is totally fine we don’t mind that one bit)

Behind the scenes happenings. This was Monday 23/02/26 minutes before I delivered a Transformative Breathwork session to 18 folk across the UK. Forgot to screen shot the participants but to be honest there weren’t attending to be part of a show. The topic we focused on was reclaim inner peace. Obviously this means such a variety of things to each and everyone of us which is the beauty of a group collective breathwork session. For those who don’t know I’ve studied different breath work teachings for the past 5 years so am happy that very shortly I’ll be offering this out in person and online 1:1 or groups very shortly watch this space 💓. I’ll pop some feedback things in the comments

On my travels recently I stumbled past this sign. Highlighting it to say there are no hidden costs here. If we think you’ll benefit from extra besides needles we consider that as part of your treatment full stop. We also don’t charge extra for evening appointments, other establishments may do, but we believe that’s disadvantaging working folk.

Was going to pop laughing emojis up but truth be told might need sad ones!. Because You could be at the hand/mercy of Practitioners with this level of lowness 😫. Rest assured here at Essex Acupuncture Room not only was our foundation at degree level and accredited by the University of Portsmouth we have also literally spent years over the past 15 years doing and attending post grad courses. Ongoing continuous Professional development is what informs and guides our practice. Don’t you go settling for low. It’s your health and it and you deserve more

These results can and do occur in clinic. That said a lot of my long term loyal clients are quick to point out that they are slow burners and ok with that . So, absolutely no guarantees given for instant results. Also instant results brilliant though they are doesn’t always equate long term sustained change/healing.

Not all things in clinic revolves around needles. This was the set up for hosting and delivering an online Breathwork Session to folk all around the UK via zoom. Watch this space for incoming info on in person and online sessions. Trusting the Breath to lead us where we need to go .
