Pool activity during pregnancy is very beneficial. The water’s buoyancy and resistance make stretching, gentle squatting, balance work, and even relaxed chatting all good for you.

Here’s why each helps:
• Water support reduces pressure on your joints, hips, and lower back
• Gentle squatting in the pool supports hip mobility, leg strength, and pelvic floor awareness with less strain
• Balance improves because the water slows movement and lowers fall risk
• Swelling decreases as water pressure helps circulation

Ladies I have loved my family break away, whilst the pool is having its maintenance. As you can see even my break included seeing lots of water. But with a wind chill of -2 did not fancy a dip in the coastal sea of the NC500.
If you ever fancy this trip it’s worth doing and planning. Book your campsites as they get busy really quickly. 1650 miles done!
