What to expect at your appointment:
When you attend your eye screening appointment you will be given a sight test using the reading chart.
Following that you will have drops administered, this will dilate the pupil to enable us a clear picture of the back of your eye.
You will be asked to wait in the waiting room for approximately 15 minutes allowing the drops to work.
Once your pupils have dilated, you will be called back in to have the painless and non invasive photographs taken.
You and your GP will receive the results in approximately 2 weeks.
Please bring with you any glasses. We also suggest sunglasses as your eyes will be sensitive to light.
A reminder - PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE to your appointment
