Another great talk today by the Essex Society for Family History hot off the press for May's meeting, one not to miss, I went early to find out details about my great uncle who we called Great Scott as that was his favourite saying, do you need help with your search, come early and our members will help you.

I just want to say a big thanks to Heather Feather and all those involved in Southend branch, including Mandie Adams and Toni Neobard. I have recently realised how much the talks I have attended have enriched my life as the information I've retained has allowed me to partake in conversations, I feel a bit of an expert . Yesterday I went to Stow Maries war memorial aerodrome, Marconi, the Victoria crosses from Mark Smith etc brought it all together!
