Enjoying a one day event - The Thrive Conference 2025 with all the incredible Thrive Coaches from around the world!
Grateful to be part of this Advanced Training Day, where we’re deepening our tools to help clients overcome depression, fears, phobias, stress, and anxiety through powerful, practical coping strategies.

Today was filled with insight, inspiration, and a reminder of how deeply important this work is.

We explored the concept of agency—something many people don’t even realize they’re giving away in everyday life.
Agency is your inner sense of power. It’s the belief that you can influence your life, your emotions, and the direction you’re heading. It’s about having confidence in your decision-making and knowing how to respond calmly and constructively instead of reacting out of fear or stress.

As psychologist Albert Bandura said:
“The human capability to influence one’s functioning and the course of events by one’s actions.”

That’s what self-efficacy is all about—your belief in your ability to make things happen. It’s not just a mindset; it’s a skill set. And that belief fuels the actions that allow people to step into real change.

We’re not just helping people cope—we’re helping them reclaim control, build resilience, and manage their emotional worlds with strength and clarity.

Here’s to empowering more minds and creating more freedom!

Reflecting on an incredible day at the Thrive Conference at Wyboston Lakes, where I had the pleasure of reconnecting with two amazing Thrive Coaches whose journeys I’ve had the privilege of being part of.

Seven years ago, I worked with Shannon to help her overcome emetophobia at the age of 21. Since then, she has not only built a successful cake business, but also become a dedicated Thrive Coach—supporting clients across Essex and online.

In 2020, I guided Michelle through the Emetophobia Programme. Today, she’s a thriving Thrive Coach herself—leading a powerful podcast, managing social media marketing for the organisation, and playing a key role in our wider impact.

I couldn’t be prouder of the journeys they’ve both taken and the amazing work they’re doing to help others transform their lives. It was so special to see you both in person on Saturday—what a great day!

If you’ve been told that your depression won’t respond to treatment… it’s time for a different conversation. 🫂

Let’s dive into something that could completely change your perspective on “treatment-resistant” depression:

When traditional treatments don’t work, it’s NOT because your brain is “broken” or you’re “wired” for depression. It’s because those treatments aren’t addressing the root cause of your experience.

Here’s what most people miss:

✨ Depression isn’t happening to you — it’s created through specific thinking patterns.

✨ These patterns aren’t permanent. They can change, no matter how long you’ve had them.

Every thought you have — even the ones that have been with you for years — can shift when you understand how they were created.

This isn’t just about “positive thinking” or “just trying harder.” It’s about learning how your mind works, so you can spark real, lasting change from within.

Countless people who struggled for years with “treatment-resistant” depression have completely transformed their lives once they understood this.

Are you ready to break free from the cycle?

🌍✈️ Overcoming Emetophobia & The Fear of Traveling 🌍✈️

For many, the idea of traveling can bring overwhelming anxiety, especially when struggling with emetophobia—the fear of vomiting. The thought of a plane, a long drive, or even being away from home can feel paralyzing. But what if I told you there’s a way to turn that fear into confidence, and to reclaim your sense of adventure?

🌟 The Emetophobia Free Programme is here to guide you on your journey. In just 8-10 weeks, you’ll learn the tools to manage your fears, shift your mindset, and embrace travel again.

As an emetophobia specialist coach for over 10 years, I’ve seen firsthand how empowering it is for people to understand their fears, emotions, and thoughts. By recognizing the psychological triggers and taking control of their reactions, students experience a predictable transformation. This program doesn’t just help you cope—it helps you thrive, creating new neural pathways for change and growth.

In the programme, students begin by setting small, manageable challenges, like taking short trips. With each step, they slowly build their confidence, increasing the distance and duration of their journeys. The more you practice, the more empowered you’ll feel.

And remember, you don’t have to face this alone. With expert guidance and unwavering support, you’ll be equipped with the right tools to conquer your fears and experience the world with a newfound sense of freedom. 🌏💛

You have the power to change your relationship with travel. The world is waiting for you to explore it, one step at a time. 🌟

Have you ever seen your mum and thought that she looks anxious?
You may have even thought about this is how your life is going to be?”

If this sparks interest then please follow us to learn all about building powerful mental health and live the life you want!

The truth is:

When you know you have a parent that struggles with anxiety it doesn’t mean you have to struggle with anxiety as well. Your anxiety is created by the way YOU are currently thinking.

Let’s think about it for a moment:

✨ Why do we find that that in some families one sibling struggles with anxiety whilst the other one doesn’t ?

✨ Why do some people overcome anxiety every single day ?

If anxiety was truly inherited from our parents then it wouldn’t be possible to change.

Let’s take a deeper look. What is REALLY happening in our brain?

Every thought that is an anxiety driven thought process causes an emotional reaction or response in us.
These unpleasant thoughts may be brand new thoughts and/ or habitual thoughts which causes a person to feel stressed.

When we create brand new positive thoughts right now in the moment this is the process of change in our brain. Our emotions and feelings change depending on what we are currently focused on and if people choose to think in a positive way this process will make you feel completely better. Therefore the more a person feels empowered, happy and calm they will have the drive and need to keep taking action every single day.

The situations that we find the most challenging are the things that generate the most emotion.

Our BRAINS are wired in such a way that what we think is a challenging situation creates a particular emotional response. If we face the same challenging situation over and over again then our brain is learning a pattern of thinking and feelings and in time becomes an habitual way of thinking and behaving.

The more we think about the things that affect us like people, situations and events the more our neural pathways becomes stronger and this is how we can evolve over time.

The solution is simply updating our thoughts which takes a lot of conscious effort, having a good sense of self belief and knowing that you have the mental capacity to become an emotionally intelligent being to successfully change ANY limiting beliefs when they arise. It’s one of the most empowering things that you can ever do to make your life change.

Here’s why we get stuck (even when we don’t mean to):Your comfort zone isn’t actually about comfort - it’s about feeling in control. When we don’t feel powerful in certain situations, we:➡️ Make excuses to avoid challenges ➡️ Tell ourselves « I can”’t instead of “I’ll “try ➡️ Stay in situations that feel « safe » but limit our growth ➡️ Let our thoughts keep us smallThe thing is that feeling that you can’t isn’t based on reality but on what you think, the first step to gently challenge yourself out of your comfort zone is to start thinking about something differently.(Your brain will resist for moment - that’s expected but push through!)Start by identifying ONE area where you say « I can’t » or « I’ll try. » Now flip that thought: « I can’t do public speaking » becomes « I’m learning to feel confident speaking up » « I’ll try to go to that event » ⭐️By having your brain on your side, you’ll feel much more confident to slowly step out of you comfort zone!Want to learn more about building strong psychological foundations? Ever feel like you walk around with a cloud over your head? …like you experience situations completely differently than others.

Can you relate?

Follow us at and learn all about making the best out of your mental health. 💫

Here’s the truth: We don’t experience life as it actually is. We experience our interpretation of life.

What do you mean by interpretations?

They’re filtered through our psychological components .. the way we think on a daily basis, our beliefs about our past experiences, the way we behave, our thoughts of our upbringing, how we feel about ourselves, we create lenses , like filters, what we think is what we see 👓👓👓

But what if our filters aren’t helping us anymore? What if they’re showing us a distorted version of reality?

Here’s the good news: our lenses / filters? They’re not set in stone. You can change them easily by adjusting your narrative . And when you take action .. everything changes.

New developments within The Thrive Programme are happening all the time.

You might see our manuals looking different now, and the support remains.
We've always wanted our clients to learn how to take responsibility for their own thoughts and feelings, rather than believing that things like people and events make them feel a certain way.

We're here to help people realise they can take ownership of their emotional health and mental wellness. By doing this, people can develop a powerful thriving mindset for themselves.
