There's a lot going on here that makes me feel good.
1. Rosemary and nettle tea - if you've had a chat with me lately, you might've heard my frustration with perimenopause and words. Its not so much brain fog - the thoughts are there, ideas are humming away, but as I open my mouth to express them, words evaporate into mist. I've been drinking Rosemary tea to help (and taking some Lion's mane), and the sentences are now much easier. to find Rosemary is a gentle stimulant that supports cognitive function, along with many other benefits, including reducing the hot perimenopause symptoms. Nettles are nutrient rich, and make it a much tastier brew. My chalelnge is to drink enough rosemary tea to stop it taking over the herb bed.
2. Holding a mug in both hands like this feels really comforting - it's warming and stimulating the Heart meridian which runs ling the little finger side of the hand. It calms the mind and reduces anxiety.
3. Lunch break in the garden - it's so full of life, and picking herbs for tea is medicine in itself - the rosemary bush is absolutely buzzing with bees. If you look carefully you can also see that I had a visit from a furry friend.
4. Spring sunshine - bliss!
