years and have been a teacher since 2010. I am a qualified Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga teacher but I am also heavily influenced by my training in Anusara and Embodied Flow as taught by my teacher Tara Judelle. I strongly believe in the transformational power of yoga as I have experienced first hand the life changing effect it can have on you. My classes are designed to help you achieve a fitter, more flexible and spacious body and I focus on the power of the breath to create a calm and centered mind. My wish is for my students to move from the inner body, to step down from the head into the space of the heart, for them to experience pure awareness without judgement and to discover and connect to the inner joy that exists within us.

Last week we Moved Mindfully and this week N is for ... Navel Radiation. The seat of our power, our will, out self identity AND the primordial sensation you get when you move from that place! Click the link below to read this week's email or to browse my website / book your spot

Navel Radiation Yogis this week we are moving through a core based flow and I would like us to sit / move with two concepts. Firstly, the navel is the seat of our individual identity which is formed between the ages of 18 months and 4 years. As we begin to develop a sense of will, a desire to explor...

This week we've been Landing in Lotus but more importantly than achieving a really difficult posture (i.e Lotus / Padmasana) is, can we stay fully landed in our body without checking out / disassociating when things get uncomfortable? Click the link to read, browse or book X

Landing in Lotus Yogis this week we are playing with a hip opening sequence and, in some classes, there will be the possibility of Landing in Lotus. My intention however is not for you to achieve Lotus pose but, during some potentially uncomfortable hip opening postures, to have you land fully in yo...

My experience of Kundalini and my love affair with my Kidneys. Click the link to read, book, or browse X

I was so happy when I realised Kidneys and Kundalini started with the same letter (I know ... I’m easily pleased ) because these two things simultaneously had a huge impact on my life. I’ve had some really inspiring teachers so far within my Yoga journey, but the one who impacted my life the mos...

This week we look at a dynamic surrendering as we combine Ishvara Pranidhana with a clear Intention and work towards Inversions. Click the link to read, to browse or to book a class X

Ishvara Pranidhana, Intention & Inversions Yoga is the embodied realisation of your Divinity, that you are everything and that everything is you. To wake up to this Self realisation can happen instantaneously but mostly it takes work. The practices of Yoga, of which there are many, are that work.

H is for ... Hinduism & Hanumanasana. A delicious flow this week that takes us towards full splits pose and how Yoga pre dates all organised religion.

Hanumanasana & Hinduism I tried starting a class in a church once - naming no names - and wasn't allowed to because Yoga is Hinduism and a practice that celebrated one God was not allowed to be carried out in a place that worshipped another. I have respect for people with religious beliefs but I thi...

This week G is for .... Garudasana, Gomukasana and Goddesses. Come and channel your inner Goddess in this week's hip centered flow. Click the link to read this week's post and to book your spot

Garudasana, Gomukasana & Goddesses When I used to hear people talk about Goddesses I always secretly wondered if they were a little bit unhinged. Like an adult believing in Fairies and Father Christmas. I can be very judgemental - something I am working on - and I find spiritually ungrounded people....

This week E is for .... Ego, Enlightenment and Eka Pada Rajakapotasana. A lot to unpack. Click on the link to read the email where I recommend some amazing books on the subject, to book your spot or just browse my website X

Ego, Enlightenment & Eka Pada Rajakapotasana Big topics! And how to summarise them in a short email? Enlightenment, put simply, is the 'goal' of yoga. All of these practices of yoga are designed to wake us up to the truth of who we are. To recognise beyond cognition, with our whole being, that our i...

Dancing with Dolphins & Dharma I'm so loving this theme. I was worried it would seem a bit trite but each week I get to explore different aspects of Yoga and then share with you lessons that have transformed my life. I changed when I found yoga. Anyone who knew me then and knows me now will testify....
