Emma and Nick have just returned from an incredible week in Austria, diving into everything Silhouette Eyewear 👓✨

Hosted by and .of.silhouette, the trip was packed with inspiration—from exploring the factory and showrooms to learning about the innovative materials and strong focus on sustainability behind every frame.

Fun fact: all of the water used in manufacturing is sourced from their own well, an then reused! 🤯

Emma, our highly experienced dispensing optician, and Nick, our expert lab manager, brought back valuable insights that help us continue delivering the very best recommendations and products tailored to you.

This one feels extra special 💛 Since our last raffle, we’ve hit 100 reviews for The Optical People and 10 reviews for Dry Eye Wales — and we are genuinely so thrilled. Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to leave us a review on Facebook and/or Google… it really helps our small business grow and be found 🫶

Our quarterly raffle is simply our way of saying thank you, with a £200 prize to spend in our clinic any way you like 👀✨

We also love using each draw as an excuse to celebrate how brilliant our town is. Every time, we visit a completely independent local business and come up with a fun, creative way to draw the winner 🎉

Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £485 for this incredible charity, which provides vital support, information, and advocacy for women and families affected by severe pregnancy sickness such as HG. Their work makes a real difference at a time when support is so desperately needed.

We are so grateful to our wonderful patients and the many local businesses who bought tickets for such a worthy cause. A special shout-out to our lovely neighbours Lazy Jacks for generously donating a second prize - thank you! 🎁

✨ Silhouette Day Highlights! ✨

A day for luxury, style and a whole lot of trying on gorgeous glasses!

We sipped on mulled wine & prosecco, indulged in festive mince pies, and treated everyone to goody bags while showcasing some truly stunning Silhouette pieces including 23ct gold and diamond frames and exquisite, sustainably sourced horn designs. Pure elegance. ✨

There was also some buzz around the Meta AI glasses which were pretty handy for filming parts of this reel! 🤓🎥

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. We really are so lucky to have such an amazing community around us ✨💫
