Castle Court is a four-storey building located in the picturesque historical town of Chepstow. We are situated at the gateway of the spectacularly beautiful Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean.
Castle Court enjoys perhaps the perfect location, situated in the heart of the town almost every service and facility are available and most within a short walk. To name a few in the town, a dentist next door, opticians, pharmacies, banks, library, post office, arts shop, and numerus cafes and restaurants.
We are extremely fortunate to be located next door to the Coach and Horses Inn who are happy to facilitate our residents and their families with traditional “Pub Grub
Castle Court is registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to offer accommodation to residents, permanent and those staying for limited respite periods, who require general personal care needs and residents with early stages of dementia. We are not able to offer care to those with nursing needs.
The aims of the home are to provide comfortable and pleasant surroundings for 24 residents aged 60 and over with personal care and according to the individual assessment and care plan. To promote the well-being and rehabilitation where possible, to maintain dignity, choice, and individuality. Our aim is also to provide a person centred and holistic approach to each individual, by putting that person at the centre of all decision making. We aim to support people to play an active part and be involved in the local community by supporting them to access the activities the local community offers. We also offer a range of activities within the home to maintain the residents’ well-being. The home welcomes both male and female permanent residents and respite guests.
