World Health and Safety at Work Day feels like the perfect nudge to check in with your setup.

Here's our top tips:
πŸ’» Screen height - your monitor should be at eye level. Looking down all day puts enormous strain on your neck.
πŸͺ‘ Chair height - feet flat on the floor, knees at a right angle. If your chair doesn't support your lower back, a rolled up towel works wonders.
⌨️ Keyboard and mouse - keep them close so your shoulders stay relaxed and your elbows sit at roughly 90 degrees.
🚢 Move regularly - get up every 30-45 minutes. A short walk, a stretch, anything. Your spine is not designed to stay still all day.
πŸ“± Put the phone down - looking down at your phone on top of a full day at a desk is a recipe for neck and upper back pain.

Small changes to your setup can make a really significant difference to how your body feels day to day. πŸ’š

This Sunday is the London Marathon! Let’s talk running! πŸƒ

Clocking up the miles puts repetitive stress on your joints, muscles and connective tissue. Tight hips, sore knees, lower back niggles.

Stretching, rest, hydration and proper recovery are all just as important as the running itself. As is listening to your body when pain or injury creeps in. Pain is your body's way of telling you something needs attention, so don’t ignore it.

Good luck to everyone taking part this Sunday! Whether it's your first or your tenth, enjoy every single moment of it. πŸ™Œ

After months of grey skies and shorter days, most of us are running low on vitamin D without even realising it.
β˜€οΈ Get outside in the sunshine, even 20 minutes makes a difference
🐟 Eat vitamin D rich foods like oily fish, eggs and fortified cereals
πŸ’Š Consider a supplement. The NHS recommends this for most adults year round

The good news is that now the sun is back, your body will naturally start topping up its levels again.
