Recruitment Campaign Officer - Band 5
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated and energised person to join the North West Surrey Health and Care Partnership (also known as the North West Surrey Alliance). Bringing a wealth of recruitment experience, creativity and passion, the postholder in conjunction with the North West Surrey partners will be responsible for delivering a cutting edge attraction strategy for posts that have historically been hard to fill across Health and Social Care. The post holder will manage a wide range of associated recruitment campaigns. The initial focus will be to support the community together programme and targeting large scale community services recruitment. However, the post holder will also be responsible for contributing to the development of other large scale recruitment campaigns across the North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will require excellent inter-personal skills and be skilled in making and sustaining relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will have strong communication skills and be skilled at developing imaginative and creative campaigns targeting a variety of demographics. You will utilise a host of different approaches, including digital media, to campaigns and programme planning and ex*****on, ensuring content is appropriately targeted, impactful and engaging. You will have refined organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and be adept at fact finding, information gathering and analysis.
The postholder will be expected to add pace, pragmatism, enthusiasm and use of their own initiative to get tasks completed, working both independently and as part of a team.
The role will be initially based at Central Surrey Health (Woking) however you will have the opportunity to work across Alliance Partners as we move to a recruitment hub model and some home working will be expected.

We are currently recruiting Band 5 Paediatric nurses, to work within our inpatient ward, Day Unit/Outpatients and Paediatric Emergency Department.

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals committed to excellent patient experience and care, to join our team.

Ash Ward, has 20 inpatient beds which includes a 2 bedded HDU catering for Children & Young People up to 18 years.

Oak Ward provides Medical/Surgical Day Care and there are Out-Patients at St Peter’s and Ashford site the whole team working closely with the Paediatric Clinical Specialist Nurses.

We have a 24 hour paediatric ED and it is an exciting time as we are shaping the urgent care provisions and the Emergency care for Children and Young People in the Trust.

We encourage staff to develop both clinically and managerially and we provide a comprehensive induction program, preceptorship and in-house training.

All new staff are fully supported by the Team Leaders, Ward Manager, Matrons, Clinical Practice Educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists (Paediatrics).

Early Years Practitioner - Band 3
Full Time - 37.5 hrs per week

The Trust nurseries are looking for a kind, thoughtful, enthusiastic and loyal Early Years Practitioners to provide and enhance good quality care to an established and popular work place day nursery, within the grounds of St Peter’s Hospital. The Trust have two nurseries and you will be required on occasions to work across site.
Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust is a forward thinking organisation which is part of the Government’s initiative to support parents who work within the NHS, by providing quality and affordable day care for their employee’s. Parents are able to return to work, knowing their children are being well cared for by a highly professional and approachable team.

Our Nurseries provides excellent day care for 158 children across sites per day aged between 3 months and 5 years. A playscheme runs for 24 children aged between 4yrs and 10 years 11 months during all school holidays on the St Peter’s site.

We are continually reviewing our practice to enable us to provide a caring and stimulating environment for our children. Each dedicated team member is part of that by being involved with planning activities following The New Early Years Foundation Stage, caring for the children, relating positive feed back to Parent’s both verbal and written.

Our on going programme of training is an essential part of being a member of our team.

Emergency Nurse / Care Practitioner (ENP / ECP) Band 7 – Urgent Treatment Centre

Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust’s Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is based at St. Peter’s Hospital and we are looking for Band 7 Emergency Nurse/Care Practitioners to help maintain and further develop the services we offer. The UTC is a GP / Nurse led service that works in collaboration with the Trust’s Emergency Department and or specialties.

We are looking for staff to join us who are enthusiastic, hardworking, dedicated and have a passion for delivering the best care to all our patients. We are a dynamic, friendly and supportive team rising to the challenges and hard work required in achieving our Clinical Quality Indictors and providing high quality patient care.

As an ENP/ECP you will be expected to work autonomously as part of the ENP team in providing health care to undifferentiated patients presenting to the UTC through assessment, diagnosis, management and treatment of their injury and/or illness. You will also be expected to actively participate / lead in the development of service improvements, assisting the Clinical Lead Emergency Nurse Practitioner.

Working with, and helping to lead, the multi-disciplinary team, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to motivate and manage, adapting, driving and leading rapidly changing situations.

Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine
Substantive Post, 10 Programmed Activities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join our Team. We will also be delighted to consider applications from candidates with an alternative sub-specialty, such as Anaesthesia, Respiratory or Emergency Medicine.

Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust is a split site Trust. The Intensive Care Unit is located at the St Peter’s site in Chertsey, Surrey. This post has arisen due to workforce changes as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic. The main Intensive Care Unit is a recently refurbished 15 bedded area which manages a flexible mix of Level 3 and Level 2 patients. A newly built surge ITU has been created in a ward area, providing an additional 11 critical care beds which are opened if needed.

The Intensive Care team at ASPH is a friendly, cohesive, and forward-thinking group. We have a strong multidisciplinary philosophy and work hard to ensure all members of our team have the opportunity to be heard and to contribute. We are particularly proud of our Consultant led 7 day service, critical care outreach team, multi-disciplinary weaning & rehabilitation ward rounds, and our simulation programmes. There is a robust clinical governance structure within the department with weekly MDTs and monthly audit, Morbidity and Mortality, and departmental meetings. The CQC was so impressed with the ITU at their last visit in 2018 that they awarded the department with the highest rating of ‘outstanding’.

The successful applicant will join a team of nine friendly and enthusiastic intensive care consultants. The junior medical staff are a combination of anaesthetic, medical, and surgical trainees from the South Thames Foundation School, KSS and London deaneries.

Ashford & St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a highly performing and innovative NHS Foundation Trust, located in a pleasant area to the south west of London and on the borders of Surrey and Middlesex. Local towns include Woking, Chertsey, Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, Staines, Bedfont, and Feltham. There are 520 beds covering a wide range of specialties, and a full range of laboratory services. There are modern Postgraduate facilities and well stocked libraries with internet access on both sites.

Operating Department Practitioners/ Anaesthetic Nurses, Band 5

Are you a newly qualified Anaesthetic nurse or ODP? Or are you an Anaesthetic nurse or ODP who already has theatre experience?

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals is the largest provider of acute services in Surrey, with approximately 3,800 staff over three sites. The Operating Departments are located on our two main sites - St Peter’s Hospital (in Chertsey) and Ashford Hospital (in Ashford, near Staines), with a total of 20 operating theatres across site including trauma and orthopaedics, urology, ophthalmology, bariatric, paediatric ENT and many more. We also provide a General emergency and obstetric emergency service.

Our Theatre team is now recruiting enthusiastic and highly motivated ODP’s and Anaesthetic Nurses to work within our operating department across site at both St Peter’s and Ashford Hospital. You will be responsible for high standards of clinical practice, working within national and local guidelines.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, a desire to learn and have a passion to develop and improve our services. Previous theatre experience is welcome, along with experience from other specialities and we have an excellent education team to support those just starting on their ODP career.We aim to guide all newly qualified ODPs and ensure they have a structured preceptorship programme and supported period of transition.

We support staff to continue their professional development and are able to support our ODPs to rotate in the different areas of Operating Department Practice from Anaesthetics, Recovery and Scrub enhancing the multi-disciplinary team as a whole, improving our patient experience as well as supporting individuals to develop further skills.

We provide good access to in house training for your professional development such as ALS, human factors training and also external training through the University of Surrey, University of West London,Kingston University and Brighton University for courses such as mentorship, leadership and many others.
