Talk about coercion and forgetting to present informed consent
This letter was received for a 6 week baby check which again is a service offered by the NHS which you can or cannot make use of the choice is yours.

I decide not to make use of this service as I know my child best, are well educated on the things they "look" out for and if any concerns I will contact the necessary provider myself.

But this letter shows exactly why and how many many parents make choices they later on regret.

Immunisations is free of choice in the UK and it is you the parent who decides on this topic. So why does it seem from this letter you aren't given a choice? FOLLOWED BY AN appointment for immunisations 🤨

Why not say at this appointment any immunisations can be given if you wish to do so, we also get money for each vaccine you take up with us. Please read the vaccine insert available to you before making the choice to vaccinate your perfectly healthy child.

I am appaled by coercion like this. Many years ago while at the paddle pool blazing hot summer. The gp had summoned me to the practice within 1 hr to have my then 6 week old child seen or she would call child protective services. At the time I was not aware this is a service offered and are in no way obliged to attend the appointment.
So I was scared and went to this check up.

This time around I made sure to ask if this is a compulsory appointment and was told absolutely not. Its a service we offer for those who would like extra care.

Please be mindful, ask questions it is your child and your choice.

She's here :-) in another preciptious birth after 2 previous emcs

These are no joke. There is no build up in intensity

Its straight from 0 to 100 with extremely rapid dilation

She was not engaged before labor started.

Born on her due date based in menstrual cycle

Super healthy and gorgeous.

As some might now i was very Iron deficient and lost much blood after delivery and postpartum with clotting
Having addressed the deficiencies and my levels were amazing throughout pregnancy to my amazement I lost only 100ml after birth and hardly any loss postpartum nor any clots

Passed the newborn 72 hr check with flying colors.

Because her entrance into this realm was so super quick there wasn't much time to clear out any fluids and mucus like normal passing through the birth canal.

A few sneezes and coughs have cleared that all up

Tight si joint, some mobility restriction on my l4-l6
My preferred position for her to be in would be with her back on my left, which is also her preferred position.

After I felt the restriction in my left si joint regardless of my exercises she went with her back on my right.
Today during my osteo treatment the release was achieved and she moved right away to my left again 🥰🥰

We'll be focussing on neck, spine, pelvic mobility, sacrum and tailbone mobility as well as sacrotuberous releases which all will aid with engagement, internal rotation during labor and the fetal ejection reflex.

With my 2 vbacs I had spontaneous fetal ejections reflexes so I am not familiar with the concept of pushing at all.

I did experience twice over a very long labor without progress (72hr) ending up in emcs

And twice over preciptious labors which I am hoping for again this time around
It is very intens and no build up what so ever but I take this anytime over the long births I had.
