We believe it is a privilege to support people within their homes, and a responsibility we take very seriously. For too long, the caring profession has been looked upon as undesirable and menial. By contrast, we believe it is a privilege to support our clients, and adopt a values-based approach to building our team, ensuring only those who share the same belief and respect deliver care on behalf of the company. We can support with day to day activities, including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, social and domestic support, shopping and companionship. Please note we are flexible in the support we offer, so do contact us to discuss your requirements further.

Looks like a very useful event, especially for carers supporting loved ones with Dementia!

Dementia Carers Respite in conjunction with Wendover Dementia Support is thrilled to announce its next event as part of the Chiltern Dementia Friendly Project: "Families and Dementia," taking place on Thursday, 15th May, from 2-4pm at the Wendover Christian Centre.

We are especially pleased to welcome two outstanding guest speakers: Dr. Pippa Moreton from Wendover Dementia Support and the remarkable Scott Mitchell, husband and carer of the late Dame Barbara Windsor, whose story has touched so many of us.

As with our previous events, entry is FREE, but places are limited, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Please see the poster for more details.

It’s so emotional when a client passes away, when you have spent time with them daily, supporting them with their personal needs and building a connection.

As carers, sometimes we are unaware of the positive impact we have on others and the difference we make, no matter how small!

It’s so kind to receive flowers from family members as a thank you for supporting their loved one right to the end - I gained and learned so much from this particular client, including lots of laughs! RIP 🙏🏾
