Thank YOU ever so much to all the schools that trusted me for another year and believed in the healing process that play therapy brings to children and adolescents.

It's been an honour to witness and be able to facilitate the children's transformation and personal journeys.

I'm breaking up for the summer holidays on Friday, and I have started to get some very lovely messages from the schools I work at.

I feel very lucky and grateful to work with schools where children's mental health is a priority.

The summer is time for recharge batteries, rest, plan for the new school year, spend time with my family and friends, travelling, reading, sun bathing, swimming, slowing down and an endless list of fun stuff.

The countdown has started! 🌞🌊

I've been very quiet on social media lately. I've been dealing with a small but pretty painful and debilitating health issue over the last 3 weeks.

Yesterday, it was the Annual Conference, and I wasn't sure I could make it until the very last minute. With the lovely support and care of my friends and colleagues, I decided to attend.

It was the best decision ever. Yes, I feel quite sore and exhausted. As soon as I got home, I went into a 'completely rest mode', but what an inspirational day I would have missed if I had stayed home!!

Having the opportunity to listen to Lisa Dion was fascinating, inspiring, and energising at the same time.

What a privilege to have the opportunity to listen and talk with a real Rock Star within the Play and Creative Arts Therapy world!

It was an absolutely golden moment!

A couple of years ago, I did a training with Jackie Flynn about how to heal developmental trauma in the playroom, and I loved it. It was brilliant!

This week, she is running The Innovative Child Therapy Symposium.

Where play becomes connection, neuroscience, and the heart of healing.

I'm very lucky to have these two amazing colleagues and friends, and , in my life.

Life put us on the same path when we started our journey to become play and creative arts therapists a few years ago.

Little did I know then that we would also become very good friends.

Even though we live in different counties, we manage, from now on then, to meet up in real life apart from our regular chats and video calls.

Ladies, I can't wait to see you again at the 's Conference happening in 3 weeks' time!

Today was a challenging day at work. When I got home, I felt I needed to process the emotions that I could still feel stored in my body. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Today, there were lots of transference.

I started doddling a horse, but I quickly moved on to drawing an octopus and adding some watercolours.

Now, looking at it, I realise the octopus represents pretty well how I felt today. The octopus is a powerful representation of change, rebirth, and resourcefulness. Because of their great mobility and adaptability, octopuses represent the capacity to overcome obstacles and to adopt a flexible approach.

Today, I had to continuously adapt myself to my clients and their needs and big emotions and hold their space with an open heart and provide them with unconditional support. This sometimes requires much of us.

Thank YOU to my clients for opening a window to their inner worlds to me. I feel very honoured and grateful.
