Becoming a Kinesiologist is so much more than just muscle testing. The post below says it all. I certainly wouldn’t want to see a Kinesiologist who did not have a good thorough understanding of what kinesiology is.
Our Foundation course starts in November and our Diploma in October.
We have recently been made aware of some online training which claims to accredit and certificate students WITHOUT any face to face training, tutor assessment of their testing techniques, tutorials, assessments and assignments or use of test kits.
Whilst these courses may be great "add-ons" for students as background information, and whilst the information may be detailed in a technical sense, in our view they do not in any way substitute for the breadth and depth of one of our courses; to which many of our many students will testify.
Here's a break down of the training our Practitioners have to go through to become qualified Kinesiologists:
✅First of all, they need to complete our FOUNDATION training.
Usually 12 full days of face to face training (usually run over 6 weekends), they learn about the body and what it needs to return to balance.
At the end of the course, they're able to help friends and family with their health and wellbeing.
When attendees already work in the health sector, they find the tool of muscle testing an invaluable addition to their practice.
✅Next is DIPLOMA training.
This is the highest level of training and after 24 days of face to face class training and coaching (usually run over 12 weekends), with 50 case studies, written Assignments and presentations and a final assessment from an Independent Assessor, they'll qualify as a professional Kinesiology Practitioner.
But the learning and accreditation doesn't stop there!
We also require that all of our Diploma Practitioners have a:
✅an ITEC level 3 equivalent qualification in Anatomy and Physiology (A&P)
✅an ITEC level 3 equivalent qualification in Nutrition
✅and a valid First Aid Certificate
✅Finally, all of our Practitioners must meet the annual CPD requirements.
They have access to Tutors and other Professional Kinesiologists throughout their training on private forums which continues after qualification.
This is why online courses really don't cut it in comparison and why Insurers or Professional Associations wont recognise them.
