Something a little bit different this Sundayβ¦β¦
How to look after yourself inbetween massage sessions is a very popular topic and dance is generally not something I mention even though I highly recommend it π
Highly recommend dance classes, I have clients doing tap and ballet who are just in love β€οΈ
And also just free styling, which many of us probably do without giving it much thought while cleaning, cooking, all the things.
And some of us would never dream of it π€―
The next stage from just having a good dance to really find out how your body is feeling - I recommend putting on what music takes your fancy in that moment and just start moving with your eyes closed. Taking away that sense allows you to just simply move in a way that feels good for your body and stops you from 'dancingβ.
Just moving with the music in a way that feels good ( be safe, I don't want to hear of any injuries because I told you to close your eyes π)
I know the idea of this could sound uncomfortable but I do urge you to give it a go, start slowly. It's such a great way to learn more about how you're feeling and lose yourself in your music as you start to relax.
So this will be one of my new aftercare recommendations to zone into the body super naturally, without force and see how it wants to move.
