When you lose someone you love, people often see the tears.
What they don’t see is everything else.
They don’t see the way grief follows you into the supermarket, the car, the shower, or the middle of the night.
They don’t see how one song, one smell, one memory, or one ordinary moment can bring everything rushing back.
They don’t see how exhausting it is to carry someone in your heart that you can’t hold in your arms.
Grief isn’t just sadness.
It’s love that still needs somewhere to go.
If this speaks to you, you can leave a heart, say their name, or simply say, “yes.”
Sometimes the simplest words remind us that we’re not alone. ❤️
