A great initiative to help children stay safe this summer.

Since the start of the summer holidays, coastguard rescue teams have been responding to an alarming number of incidents involving missing children at beaches around the UK.

With a beach safety wristband, we can easily contact parents and guardians to let them know their children have been found. Write your mobile phone number on your child's wristband so that you can be called and reunited if you get separated.

Beach safety wristbands are handed out at many beaches and can also be ordered free online from our web shop, using the link in the comments.

In an emergency at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
