It’s Friday and it feels like spring again — I could sing again! 🌸

Tulips from Brentwood today and wow… the colours! So calming but bright all at once. Rows and rows of pinks, reds, yellows, purples — just proper pretty 🌷💛

Spent the morning at the tulip fields and it was the best kind of therapy. Lovely photo opportunities everywhere you turned. Can’t beat fresh air, flowers, and that feeling that winter’s finally packed its bags 😂

They boys painted their plant pots today 🪴 👨‍🎨 🎨
— Spring might be pretending it’s winter today, but we weren’t letting that stop us! We spoke about what they are going to choose what they grow in them 🌻 🌹 🌼 🌷

*Skills gained today without them even realising:*
- *Creativity & decision making* – designing their own pots +
- *Fine motor skills* – all that painting and brush control
- *Patience* – waiting for paint to dry before the next colour!
- *Nature knowledge* – chatting about what seeds need to grow 🫘

Alfie’s lived his best life at the farm today 🌞 From feeding the animals to wheelbarrows, parks, sand play and welly wanging — he loved every minute.

Skills gained: following instructions, turn-taking, using tools, physical coordination, and connecting with animals + staff.

Huge thanks to his staff for making it such a great day and helping him learn while he plays 💛
