Spring is here - and so is the urge to get active again!

After a slower winter, it's tempting to jump straight back into training at full throttle. But did you know that one of the most common causes of sports injuries is simply doing too much, too soon?

Here are my top tips for a safe, strong return to sport this spring:
1. Build back gradually - increase your training by no more than 10% per week
2. Warm up dynamically before every session (save the static stretching for after!)
3. Cool down properly - your muscles will thank you the next day
4. Listen to your body - soreness is normal, sharp or persistent pain is not
5. Consider a soft tissue therapy session to get your body spring-ready

Whether you're dusting off your running shoes, heading back to the gym, or getting back on the pitch - I'm here to help you do it safely.
