It was great for the Wheelfreedom team to visit the Matt Hampson Foundation recently.

We were impressed by their facilities and the rehabilitation work being done — supporting people through sports, fostering a sense of community, and having a strong focus on helping individuals get back to being active and living life. With expert physiotherapy and in-house therapists, there is synergy in the work we do, and we are excited create a shared impact in the future.

Friction burns are a common experience when propelling manually. The Eppur Skeed wheel is a clever braking system designed to eliminate friction burns and reduce effort when braking, making everyday wheelchair use easier and safer. Users can simply tug on the lever to slow or stop, requiring far less effort than traditional push-rim braking.
