It's hard to get more personal than a coffin that is hand painted for you by your daughter. What started as a plain brown cardboard coffin was lovingly transformed into a literal work of art. We were all stunned by how beautiful it was, bringing such colour and light to a sad occasion.

A wonderful handwritten card received from Princess Alice Hospice today to acknowledge the vital funds that our MuchLoved pages have helped to raise for them. Last year alone over £12,500 was donated across all of our branches through generous contributions given in memory of loved ones. This is truly wonderful and so deserved for this amazing charity that supports our local community.

Mortlake Crematorium has a couple of events coming up, including their annual Mother's Day remembrance service for anyone who wishes to attend. Also if you're looking for a new hobby, they have started their "Melody Misfits" singing group, which takes place on the last Tuesday of every month. No experience necessary and all are welcome.

Our services do not end with the funeral ceremony...
Our door is always open and the kettle is always on for our clients, even after the funeral has taken place. Sometimes you may feel like talking to someone about what you're going through who isn't a close friend or family member, or maybe you just fancy a cuppa and a chat.
These lovely bunnies were given to us today by a lady whose husband we looked after two years ago. She pops in to see us regularly and she says how much it has helped her process her grief.
Anyone is welcome and you don't always have to bring us chocolates! 😉

Introducing you to Hendrix, Jimmy, Fred & Jacob, the most well behaved, gentle boys who will take your loved one on their final journey with the upmost respect. We cannot thanks Supreme Carriages enough for always ensuring they are impeccably turned out. They always create such a 'Wow' moment.

You do not have to have a religious faith in order to attend and the last session is optional.

We conducted a beautiful funeral on Thursday for a man who absolutely loved birds. He used to breed green finches but his favourite was the gold finch. The family provided us with stickers to decorate his coffin and we were stunned at how effective they were. Some of the attendees even thought they'd been painted on.
Another example of how we love and embrace making things personal. 🐦
