📣Join us Tuesday 20th January 12 - 1:30pm online for the Kingston Parent Carer Consortium

This month the Short Breaks team will join us to discuss recommissioning and to update us about changes to services in the Kingston borough.

Any parent/carer can attend the consortium meetings. You can request an invitation by emailing sendlocaloffer@achievingforchildren.org.uk

Alternatively, if you have a question but cannot attend, you can contact the Kingston SEND Parent Carer Forum by email help@kingstonpcf.org.uk The forum will raise the question for you at the meeting and let you know the outcome. Please note that time allocated for the consortium meeting doesn’t allow for individual cases to be discussed, but parent and carer experiences can be used to highlight broader issues. You can read the notes of each meeting by visiting the local offer

At Achieving for Children, we are proud to be part of and supported by the National Portage Association (NPA). We fully believe that no child should miss out on Portage support simply because of where they live.

Children with disabilities and developmental differences deserve early support when it matters most. That’s why the NPA has launched a petition calling on the government to fund Portage provision in EVERY local authority, ensuring families can access this vital support when they need it. 💙

✨🎄 What a magical Portage Christmas Party! 🎄✨

We absolutely loved welcoming our wonderful children and families to celebrate together - thank you all for coming and making it so special!

A huge thank you to Elanor Hughes for the amazing new toys gifted to the team - we can’t wait to take them out on visits and see the smiles they bring!

We had the best time playing with toys, enjoying party snacks, parachute games, and joining in with some festive singing 🎶🎈

Special thanks as well to Charlotte and Jenny, our Early Years SEND Officers for joining us - we know how much families value meeting the wider team!
