On Friday it was World’s Mental Health day; we weren’t sure whether to write anything or do a post on it because it is such a sensitive subject. But as funeral directors, we see the devastating results of poor mental health far too often.
Sadly, it’s also something that’s hit our own family this year in the most devastating way when we lost our own brother and uncle, and it’s reminded us how important it is to talk, to listen, and to reach out, even when it’s difficult.
If you’re struggling, please know that you’re not alone. There is help out there and people who truly care.
Please keep talking and checking in on those around you. Sometimes a simple conversation can make more difference than you’ll ever know!
It’s okay not to be okay
As we always say, if anyone wants to call into our shop for a cuppa and chat, we’ve always got a listening ear 💙
