Resident Doctors are due to strike between 25th & 30th July, some reduction in appointment availability will be inevitable, however GP practices will continue to be open during the resident doctor's strike. Please continue to attend your GP appointments, if you need to cancel for some reason please do let us know with as much notice as possible so your appointment can be made available for another patient, you should attend for any booked appointment unless you are contacted and told otherwise.

🚨 Think Measles! 🚨
Measles is circulating, and it’s highly infectious.
It can make you or your child very unwell – but it’s preventable.

💉 The MMR vaccine is safe, effective, and free on the NHS. You need 2 doses (given at least a month apart) to be fully protected against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.

👶 You can catch measles at any age. If you or your child are not fully vaccinated, now is the time to act.
📆 It’s never too late to be vaccinated.

🩺 Common symptoms include:

High fever

Sore, red, watery eyes

Cough

Aches and feeling unwell

A blotchy red-brown rash, usually after other symptoms

👉 If you or your child have symptoms of measles, contact NHS 111 or speak to the surgery.
