Natural Nutrients

Natural Nutrients Natural Nutrients make cleaner, simpler and more effective products that contain no artificial fillers, bulkers or flavourings - unlike our competitors.

Natural Nutrients was created in 2012 by Personal Trainer and aspiring Nutritionist Liam, who became disgruntled with the lack of natural supplement companies available to his clients. Trading successfully began in 2013 and from day 1 we became one of only a handful of "clean" supplement companies developing and retailing effective, natural supplementation in the UK. We hoped to fill a gap in the market and offer the more discerning customer a cleaner, natural supplement that doesn't contain artificial fillers, bulking agents or GMO ingredients - and we certainly feel like we've been able to do that successfully so far! As we develop and grow we have ambitious plans to develop several new-to-market and innovative supplement and nutritional food products that are specifically designed to improve your health, enhance exercise performance and support a healthier overall lifestyle. If you're wanting to do business with an honest, transparent and passionate supplement retailer - then you're in the right place.

Today is officially ‘Blue Monday’ but your mood doesn’t have to match the calendar!

While January can feel long and grey, science-backed natural nutrients can help support your brain chemistry and energy levels from the inside out.

3 Natural Ways to Lift Your Mood:

☀️Vitamin D3 (The Sunshine Vitamin): Crucial during these short, dark days when we don’t get enough sunlight. It helps regulate mood and energy.

😴Magnesium: Known as “nature’s chill pill,” it supports the nervous system, helps with relaxation, and can improve sleep quality.

🐟Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Found in fish oil or algae, these are essential for brain health and have strong links to emotional stability.

How are you feeling today?!

We’re halfway through January, which feels like the right moment to pause and ask an honest question:

How are your fitness and wellness goals going so far?

If things are clicking and you’re feeling good — that’s brilliant.
If you’ve already missed sessions, slipped into old habits, or started doubting the plan — you’re in very good company.

I’ll be honest, my own fitness drifted over the last couple of years. Life got busy (very busy), especially after our third child arrived, and training slowly slipped from something I prioritised to something I kept promising I’d return to.

And here’s the uncomfortable truth I’ve already been reminded of this year:
stopping is easy. Starting again is the hard part.

That’s why this year I decided to reset properly rather than “ease back in”.

I’ve started a new training programme and, slightly embarrassingly, I’ve enlisted ChatGPT as my coach. I trained it to be strict, to call me out when I try to skip sessions, and to push me harder than I would on my own. Being told to “stop negotiating with yourself” turns out to be surprisingly effective.

Alongside training, I’ve gone back to basics with supplements. Nothing clever — just what supports training and recovery consistently:

• Creatine (daily)
• Optomega fish oils
• Vitamin D
• Protein
• Super Magnesium in the evening

That’s it. Not everything. Just what I’ll actually take every day.

What this reset has reinforced is that progress comes from consistency, not perfection. Missing a session doesn’t mean you’ve failed — it only matters if you don’t come back to it.

That same thinking sits behind everything we do at Natural Nutrients: honest products, clear information, and support that fits real life.

Wherever you’re at right now, staying engaged counts more than you probably realise. And if you ever want help getting back on track, we’re always here.

Keep going. It’s worth it.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫

In nutrition, complexity often looks impressive — but it rarely delivers long-term results.

From years of working with clients, one pattern shows up again and again:
Simple routines outperform complicated ones.

Here’s why 👇

The more supplements someone takes, the more likely they are to:
• Miss doses
• Drop products entirely
• Lose consistency when life gets busy

Consistency is what drives results — not the length of the supplement list.

That’s why effective routines usually focus on:
• Core gaps (like protein or omega-3s)
• Well-researched supplements with multiple benefits
• Doses that fit easily into daily life

A premium approach isn’t about more.
It’s about intentional choices that you can maintain for months and years — not weeks.

Start simple.
Build consistency.
Then optimise if needed.

👉 Question: Do you currently follow a simple routine? what's in your stack.... and why? 🤔

Think of nutrition like building a house.

Whole foods are the foundation — without them, nothing else works.
But even the best foundations can have small gaps.

That’s where supplements come in.

Modern lifestyles, busy schedules, food availability, and personal needs mean many people fall short on certain nutrients — even when they eat well.

Supplements aren’t there to replace food.
They’re there to:
• Fill gaps where intake is low
• Optimise intake where needs are higher
• Support consistency when life isn’t perfect

Omega-3s are a great example.
Protein intake is another.
Creatine for performance and ageing is a third.

The challenge isn’t whether supplements can help — it’s knowing which ones actually make sense for you.

That’s exactly why we created the Natural Nutrients Supplement Finder GPT.

It helps you:
• Identify potential gaps
• Understand where supplementation may be useful
• Make more informed, evidence-led choices

No guesswork.
No overwhelm.
Just clarity.

𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚-𝟑𝐬, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬

Omega-3 fatty acids are one of the most consistently researched nutrients for long-term health.

Recent research has suggested that optimising omega-3 levels may be associated with meaningful improvements in longevity, alongside benefits for heart, brain, and metabolic health.

But here’s the key point 👇
Not all omega-3 intake is equal.

EPA and DHA — the active omega-3s found primarily in oily fish — are the forms most strongly linked to health benefits.
Yet many people:
• Eat little to no oily fish
• Consume inconsistent amounts week to week
• Or rely on low-quality fish oils with poor purity or oxidation issues

This is where high-quality supplementation can help fill the gap.

A well-formulated fish oil can:
• Provide consistent EPA & DHA intake
• Support cardiovascular and cognitive health
• Help optimise omega-3 status when diet alone falls short

Importantly, this isn’t about shortcuts or replacing good nutrition.
It’s about supporting the body where modern diets often fall short.

If you’re interested in the research behind omega-3s and longevity, we’ve broken it down in more detail here 👉

👉 Question: Do you currently get your omega-3s mostly from food, supplements — or a mix of both?

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 (𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐝)

A supplement label should be clear, honest, and easy to understand.

Unfortunately, many aren’t.

One of the biggest issues we see is the overuse of artificial binders, bulking agents, and fillers — ingredients added not to improve performance, but to reduce manufacturing costs.

The more fillers in a formulation, the more the active ingredient is diluted.

Whey protein is a great example.

If a product contains large amounts of thickeners, gums, sweeteners, or bulking agents:
• The actual protein per scoop may be lower than expected
• Digestibility can be affected
• Texture and taste may be masking poor raw material quality

Another common issue is confusing nutritional information.

Some labels look impressive at first glance — until you notice:
• Large serving sizes designed to inflate protein numbers
• Protein percentages that don’t match ingredient quality
• Long ingredient lists that distract from under-dosed actives

A good rule of thumb:
If you can’t clearly identify what’s doing the work — question the product.

At Natural Nutrients, we believe transparency builds trust.
You should be able to read a label and know exactly what you’re putting into your body.

👉 Question: Do you usually read supplement labels closely, or rely on the front-of-pack claims?

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐖𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 “𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡”

Natural Nutrients started with a simple but uncomfortable question: why?

As Personal Trainers, we were surrounded by “health” products — yet the more we looked, the more concerned we became.

Poor-quality ingredients.
Under-dosed formulas.
Products marketed as premium, but built to maximise margins — not outcomes.

So we asked why this was so common.

The answer surprised us.

Many manufacturers offer “off-the-shelf” formulations — mass-produced products that brands can simply label and sell. Quick. Convenient. Profitable.

But that wasn’t what we wanted.

We didn’t want products that already existed.
We wanted products built to the standards we expected for ourselves and our clients.

So we chose a harder route.

We formulated our own products from the ground up and partnered only with manufacturers who could deliver:
• The ingredients we actually wanted
• The purity levels we demanded
• The highest health, safety, and quality standards

Every decision was — and still is — meticulous.

Because when it comes to health, “good enough” isn’t good enough.

👉 When choosing supplements, do you ever wonder how they’re really made?
