As you may have seen in the news, Mounjaro will soon be made available on the NHS for eligible patients to support weight loss. We would recommend viewing this website to see if you will be eligible and to keep up to date with when this will become available: https://www.cheshireandmerseyside.nhs.uk/your-health/prescribing/statements/mounjaro-tirzepatide/

The pathway for prescribing Mounjaro is currently not live in Cheshire and Merseyside but this is expected to go live by summer. Please do not call the practice to enquire about being referred until the service is live. The website link will be updated to inform you when it is live.

Semaglutide (Wegovy) is a weight loss drug that was approved by NICE in the UK on 4 September 2023. Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) has since been approved by NICE on 23 December 2024.

Due to work happening on the tennis courts, organized by the Pavilion, some of the car park spaces in front of the tennis courts are unavailable for the duration of this week. Disabled parking bays are still available. We apologise for any inconvenience.

If you've visited the practice this week, you may have seen our recent project underway. We asked Tom @ Cheshire West Landscapes to build us a bin store and accompanying path so we could keep our waste bins secure, tidy and accessible (previously the bins were on the grass which wasn't great to access in bad weather). We are so pleased with the end result - thanks again!

Andys Man Club Chester will be back in our normal Chester home from Monday 17th March at The Hughes Centre on the Dale Barracks site, off Charles Road.

Doors open at 6:30pm with session starting from 7pm - 9pm.

No need to register or book, no fees, no judgement. Just turn up on the night and the AMC team will walk you through the doors and talk you through the evening and most importantly get you a brew!

So if you’re thinking of coming down, recommending someone else or not sure what to expect, come along and the team will guide you through everything and be there to support you.
