Tonight 5 men sat around the fire at the new, growing, Cheshire West Tribe in Blacon 🪨

We started the process of making a small spear crafting the stone to a variety of unique shapes and sizes before looking to mount onto a stick and bind with primitive glue over future sessions.

BUT more importantly, 5 of us sat and talked about our individual stories around childbirth and the adoption process and It's powerful to know we all felt safe to do that around the fire 🔥

Join the Northwich Tribe tomorrow 13th August 6-8pm or we'll see you in Blacon in two weeks.

Bushcraft on the Estate

Join us in the shade under the trees for tonight's Bushcraft session and begin to craft a stone tool.

In future sessions we'll learn how to create a handle, bind and glue it using techniques spanning 1000's of years 🪨

Just a few of the brilliant creations at today's workshops. Two groups who really got stuck into crafting their own necklace or keyring and were so excited by what they achieved.

What's been great about these sessions so far is everyone has been completely different, so it keeps it's really interesting. Some spent their time sanding away, another group focused on the files and the detail, one younger group crafted for a bit and then got stuck into the Acrylic pens and today's really focused on producing the arrow.
