1st September feels like a gentle reset button 🍂🍂

As the seasons change our bodies and minds have different needs, more rest, more warmth and more time to ground ourselves.

From September, I’ll be offering just two core massage options which you can then tailor with complementary add-ons.

The difference isn’t about pressure, it’s about intention and technique.

🌿 Relaxation Massage
Using flowing, soothing techniques, this treatment calms your nervous system, eases stress, and restores balance. Perfect if you’re looking for rest, better sleep, or simply a peaceful pause in your week.

💪 Muscle Tension Massage
For when tight shoulders, stiff hips or nagging aches are holding you back. With techniques like myofascial release and trigger point therapy, this treatment works deeper to ease knots, restore mobility and help you move more freely. Expect a little more dialogue and movement during your session, as we work together to create freedom in your body.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been looking at how I work, what clients love most, and how to keep my treatments sustainable for the long term.

From 1st September, you’ll see:

✨ A simplified menu – making it easier to choose the right treatment for you (a few of you had mentioned the treatment list was getting a little long!)

✨ More ways to customise – hot stones, cold stones, aromatherapy blends & cupping available as complimentary add-ons

✨ No more 2-hour sessions – they’ve been popular, but they’re a little too much for me to offer just now (I’ll be in touch with you if you have one booked in or have bought one as part of a package)

✨ Price updates (from 1st October) – reflecting the care, skill and time that goes into each session

Well that was a warm end to June… ☀️
It’s been a busy month here - here’s a little roundup of what I’ve been up to:

🌸 Watching the garden burst into bloom
⛱️ A sunny getaway (complete with obligatory airport drinks!)
🐾 Plenty of summer dog walks
🎶 A night out seeing Texas with friends (if you get the chance—go! Sharleen Spiteri’s voice is incredible)
🐎 A day at the races (no winners… but I did share a lift with Vernon Kay 😍)

✨ Booking Terms & Conditions Update ✨

For all new appointments booked from 1st July the following terms and conditions will apply:

➡️ Less than 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes: 50% of the appointment cost is due

➡️ No-shows: 100% of the appointment cost is due

➡️ Outstanding charges must be settled before making any future bookings

➡️ Repeat late changes: If you cancel or reschedule
🔹 4 or more times in 6 months or
🔹 6 or more times in 12 months
with less than 2 working days’ notice, a £20 fee will be required to secure your next appointment. This fee is non-refundable but will be deducted from the cost of your treatment if taken within the agreed terms.

📱 You’ll receive an automated SMS 48 hours before your appointment – this is your cue to let me know if you can’t make it.

🎁 For voucher bookings: Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the relevant amount being deducted from your voucher.

If this applies to you, please know it’s not personal. These policies simply help protect my time, support the sustainability of my business, and ensure fairness for everyone.

I completely understand that life happens and will always take exceptional circumstances into account.

Here are a few thoughts I have on how you choose the right therapist for you 🪷

Qualifications and insurance matter (and if you suspect these aren’t in place run a mile! )... but these aren’t a differentiating factor, these are basics that should be in place

Questions I ask myself when I make my appointment are:
💫 Do they feel like someone I can relax with?
💫 Does their energy match mine?

You may have an entirely different set of questions, and as important to you as mine are to me.
Therapy is way more than technique - it’s a connection.
