Cold hands? Raynaud's syndrome is a medical condition in which the skin turns pale or white, and becomes cold and numb when exposed to the cold - it's due to reduced blood flow to the extremities, usually fingers and toes.

Studies have shown that acupuncture can increase the blood flow in peripheral arteries by stimulating the autonomic nervous system, as well as improve local microcirculation, and regulate vasodilation.
