This morning we were invited along to Storyhouse Chester to help open Elders Week by singing in the choir. There was the Rock choir, the patchwork choir and ourselves along with a few other care homes. We had a lovely morning singing and dancing. Couple of videos to follow…

This week we have been busy with art and craft, movement to music, a library visit and a quiz to test ourselves. Mary was channeling her inner Pat Butcher with her decorations as earrings! 🤣

We’ve had a lovely afternoon celebrating Mary’s 102nd birthday with a lovely afternoon tea. Huge thanks to the kitchen and all staff for helping make it possible. Happy Birthday, Mary!

Our residents have enjoyed some fresh air this morning courtesy of the brilliant Cycling Without Age Chester who took us around the block on their bike. Mary, who will be 102 this weekend, enjoyed her go on the bike and has perfected her royal wave! 👋🏼
