Saluto recently received some wonderful feedback from Yvonne Edwardson – Education Advocate Manager of Down Syndrome Cheshire.

“We’ve now completed the three ‘The Basics of Speech & Language’ training sessions funded by Saluto, and we would like to thank you for the additional support that this will give for the 200 children we support across Cheshire, Warrington and Halton.

The knowledge gained will directly benefit the younger children we support through our ‘Cheeky Monkey’ sessions. We now feel better equipped to offer practical strategies for parents to support their child’s speech development at home, and more confident in recognising when a referral to SALT is needed.

Thank you again for the opportunity, it’s been incredibly beneficial.”

We are delighted to be partnering with Cariad Speech Therapy to deliver a free informal "Drop In" Speech Therapy session at the King George V Community Sports Hub.

The session will take place on 4th August between 3:30 pm and 5 pm.

Parents/Guardians and their children are all welcome to attend. The session is intended to address concerns about the Speech & Language Development of children under-5.

We are delighted to announce that this Autumn, Saluto are supporting some of the children at Cherry Grove Primary School with their communication.

This is only possible due to the generosity of Saluto's supporters which include Chester Poets, Chester Business Club and EET Fuels who are celebrating 100 years of Stanlow.

The therapy will be delivered by the excellent team at Lifelong Language
